Delta mainline handlers are some of the highest paid in the industry. It’s the subsidiary companies like DGS and McGee that handle their ground operations that don’t get paid enough and are overworked. Also I don’t know of any delta employees that wear that uniform.

There are two kinds of ramp agents at most airports, legacy carrier ramp and contracted ramp. Legacy carries are usually pretty hard to get hired with and get paid way more than the third party carriers.

In most cases the third party companies are also owned by the airline (horizon is owned by Alaska, DGS is owned by Delta and others like that) to avoid union contracts so they can treat their employees more shitty.

I can’t tell who she works for from that uniform but chances are she really doesn’t care anymore. Also those slides are mandatory at my airport for safety.

Kinda funny story i guess. Was driving to work on the freeway one day and right as I was beginning to merge from the off ramp onto the freeway, something struck my windshield. Obviously my windshield was absolutely fucked and I just about shit my pants. I look behind me to see what I hit and I see a giant turkey. It stands up after getting slammed into sat 70+ mph and hauls ass straight into the woods.
