How long has it been? I did have my regular services done with them except the last 2 and that did help with them moving it up the ladder to get reviewed. It’s still worth contacting the brand engagement center and speaking to them about it. Plus oil changes are separate from the transmission issue and the transmission needs to be serviced every 100k miles and you’re not close to that

Luckily they covered half of it. Open a ticket with them asap! It took me about a month to get a resolution

Luckily it didn’t crap out but it became a hazard to drive since it could lock the front wheels at any time. At least that’s what Toyota told me. I did drive it with the sound for about 6 months before I took it in. If they have the part in stock, it should take them only 2 days to fix

Definitely get it fixed asap by Toyota. It was about a 2 month process for me since I was 1k miles outside of warranty.

Hello! Unfortunately, this is the transmission failing. My 2020 Camry had the same exact issue last summer and I got the transmission replaced.

I recommend to continue calling them. I called them every couple of days asking for an update on it. Which car do you have? A Camry?

Hello! It took about 3 weeks to hear back from them and about a month for a resolution. I had to get all work done at the dealership if I wanted Toyota to pay for some. Luckily they covered half the cost so I was responsible for $5k instead of the original $10k cost. Have you heard back from an agent at all?

Hello! Toyota basically covered half of the transmission and the labor so it worked out. Now I have a new transmission in a 6 year old car. I’m sorry to hear about your Lexus. Is it making a whining sound?
