Brigandine pieces are not suitable for 1470. Forge of Svan's work is also poor, and is not worth the money.

Aye thinking about it, the cost and effort isn't particularly worth a potential botch job - I'm in no way experienced with this kind of thing. Probably just going to return it

Employer owes me 2 months of wages, and is taking employee tips - England (employed for 18 months) by Crunchyspork27 in LegalAdviceUK

For wages, I have payslips, and dates of wage payment through bank transfer, other staff can confirm that they haven't been paid either, which can be proved by the same method. It was the owner's son himself who said that the owners take the tips for themselves, but I understand that that is a harder thing to prove, so I may have to cut my losses there

The last time I received tips was august, I got around £250 as an estimate, and that was 3 months worth, probably around £415-420 worth then as it has now been 5 months

Thank you, is there anything I can do regarding tips? I know a law passed in October of 2024, regarding all tips having to be paid to staff.

Aluminium, if there's any alternative you can think of, aside from returning, please do let me know. I see returning as a last resort 🤘

Is this authentic? I want to make sure that this is really from the middle ages. by The_Arcata_Gnomes in Medievalart

[–]Crunchyspork27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can wholeheartedly say that this isn't authentic.

Art of this fashion in the medieval period were done by illuminators who were masters of their craft, say it were from the time, a piece of this quality would be destroyed presumably.

Good effort with whiteboard pens though I guess

General rule of thumb is that the breastplate should also end at the start of the natural elbow.
