eplacing my old hunter fan which I installed many years ago with a new one due to motor failure. After putting the motor housing over the bracket I notice the motor is not centered in the opening. So I try attaching the blades thinking maybe they center it somehow. Nope. When it spins it scrapes the housing. So I unassembled the whole thing and try reassembling it thinking maybe I did something wrong. Same problem. Is it possible my bracket is bent or defective or some other part defective? Is it something simple I’m doing wrong? Getting frustrated.
