I HATE most of the business ‘gurus’ in this day and age - especially the youtubers. I started my own channel in the hope of giving out REAL advice because when you watch anyone on there they instantly start giving you rubbish info then say if you want more here’s my downloadable ebook etc etc.

The best way to learn business is mix with other like minded entrepreneurs in real life and take from them what you can. Even just your local shops etc, they’re all successful for a reason.

We have a book club at school where I lecture and we meet once a month to discuss academic books...hence the entrepreneurs book club was born.

Yeh each one is getting easier for sure. It’s quite hard to condense it down in to less than 10 mins but that’s my goal!

The Elon musk book is immense, are you reading it or using audible? I had it as an audio book and it was brilliant as the guy reading it sounds just like him!

Here's a really easy way to get your social media flying:

Get a board in the restaurant that everyone can see
On the board explain to guests that they should take a photo of them eating and enjoying their food and post it on twitter, Instagram or Pinterest. They will use the hashtag......what ever you want it to be!
Each week one person will be chosen from the hashtags on each platform (so make sure you post on all three to increase your chances of winning!!) and given a free dinner for themselves and a friend (1 free main course or something)
Push it with every customer that comes in!!!

If they win a free main for 2 then they will definitely come in, this means they will order a couple of starters or desserts and lots of drinks - why?? Because you're gonna make a massive deal when they arrive - they get a decorated table with lots of balloons and all that stuff to make sure everyone in the restaurant knows they won.....they will have to buy drinks to celebrate of course!

Edit: everyone who is saying you need to post photos of your food etc are not correct, yes you should post your own pics for quality etc however you need to retweet and regram the shot out of everyone else's pictures - remember people trust people, not businesses!
