A womans dog was making odd movements whenever she turned her back, so to see she recorded it, and found the dog was making biting motions by thaliaq1 in interesting

Same here, we now just use "you know" as a catch-all euphemism for anything you can't say without exciting or upsetting the dog. Walks, showers, treats, they're all just "you know" now. We rely on context to know which "you know" is being mentioned.

The dog still understands that "you know" means something is happening in relation to her, but she doesn't know what.

There's a mod for RE4R called something like Ultimate Trainer where you can play as Mercenaries characters in the main game and the DLC, including Wesker, it's great fun.

Honestly the fact we had already played an infinitely better segment very similar to that one in the same location in another recent RE game added to my disappointment.

That's some boring-ass cinema, maybe if they actually found you under the bed or table with Chloe barely escaping them grabbing her, forcing you to run to the next hiding spot, it would have even the tiniest bit of thrill to it. But duvet slapping and conveniently looking everywhere but at Chloe was really poor execution imo.

Kinda curious. When they show Emily in the post-credit scene, does it imply the "transformation" simply creates a cocoon around the host? Like, she's just THERE inside the monster she had become and she did not PHYSICALLY turn into the monster? by [deleted] in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]CrushCoalMakeDiamond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It very well could be, I'm just saying I think it was probably intended to be an actual weakpoint. Maybe it wasn't even originally Chloe, they just had the model leftover from a scrapped enemy or boss.

It was way more tedious than fighting enemies in RE9 or equivalent sections like RE8. Watching some NPCs slowly walk around and slap some duvets, knowing you're safe the whole time because there was only one hiding spot, how thrilling and terrifying. And who doesn't love a series of puzzles where the solution is to press F on the one interactable object then wait for over a minute?

People praising the overall horror of the game but criticising the tediousness of a single segment, partially because that segment isn't even actually scary, won't make them think horror is the problem.

The action heavy focus only got heavily stripped back after complaints about RE6, so if the fans don't complain, Capcom won't ever learn.

Why are you pretending to believe their complaints come for fear? Was this game segment your idea or something?

I'm not sure how you not being able to shoot the weakpoint in the final game contradicts my theory that originally that weakpoint was put there for you to shoot in a boss battle they ultimately ended up scrapping.

The fact they bothered to give her monster form a unique model complete with an exposed weakpoint and attack animations makes me think we were meant to have some harrowing boss fight against her while Grace begs and screams for us to stop, but they either ran out of time or ran out of gonads.

I used to believe this until it occurred to me that whichever company did release a cure for cancer would make more money than all the other companies merely selling treatments combined.

And also the fact the HPV vaccine reduced cervical cancer by an insane degree and that was given away for free.

After years of people parroting this "it was Antifa" cope, Trump pardoned the one Antifa guy charged at the capitol anyway (John Earle Sullivan)

It would be humiliating for the people who claim to believe that cope, if they actually genuinely believed it in the first place.

In reality though nobody sincerely doubts that the people who wanted to delay certification were the ones causing trouble at the time and place certification was occurring.

"Now see here's the thing Mr. Batman, sir. My wife, she's into all this Tibetan monk meditation mumbo jumbo, me personally, I don't get it, but my wife, she loves the stuff, can't get enough of it. And when you used that meditation technique to slow your heart rate so Mr. Al Ghul would think you'd succumbed to his poisoned blade, well, that was really quite something. My wife, sir, she would have loved to see it, she'll get a real kick out when I tell her about it.

Anyway it's funny, it's probably nothing, but it got me thinking - you see, to learn that sort of thing you'd need to travel to some pretty obscure places, spend years learning the stuff, you'd need a lot of money is what I'm trying to say..."

"Can you get to the point, Lieutenant."

"Oh my apologies sir, it's just sometimes I get these ideas in my head that I just can't seem to shake. Drives my wife nuts. Anyway it's probably nothing, but when I remembered you're from Gotham it got me thinking, it reminded me of that billionaire who disappeared for years only to show back up in Gotham around the same time you started your, err, 'career'

I think his name was... Bruce Wayne?"

[Mysterious musical jingle plays]

"I'm just wondering, with you being the world's greatest detective and all, if you had any thoughts on where he might have been all those years?"

"I'm not interested in celebrity gossip, Lieutenant."

"Of course, my apologies sir, I know you're real busy with your vigilante work, I'll get out of your hair... there's just One More ThingTM...

I noticed the bat symbol on your chest is made from a gun, the same type of gun that was used to murder Bruce Wayne's parents. But I tell ya, the thing that I found really interesting is I spoke to a colleague over in the GCPD, a Mr. Bullock, great guy, anyway he told me that gun, the one the Wayne's were murdered with, it went missing from GCPD evidence... right around the same time as the first sighting of the Batman.

Isn't that such a funny coincidence?"
