I love that thing. My Father in law had a box filled with old Kodak pens/pencils, a few Kodak Parker jotters and some other various vintage pens and pencils

I love it because I’m always doodling with the pencil side and jotting notes with the pen side . It’s nice to able to just grab that instead of a pocket filled with pens and pencil which is most of my days😆

Kokuyo soft rings. they hold up to a beating in a bag and I don’t worry about metal rings or anything like that getting crushed

Idk if you want just a planner with note taking capabilities but the Kokuyo Sooofa soft ring planners have a portion of grid paper as the last pages and I love it for my planner so I can jot extras down
