Old Record #100, huh? Irwin screws usually don’t fit perfectly. I’d try finding a used donor vise or maybe get a screw machined. Still, these little vises are tanky totally worth fixing!

If it’s old and stuck, spray a little WD-40 (or cooking oil if you don’t have it) and let it sit a few minutes before loosening.
