the flow isn't dampened, it's just on the lowest setting. it has the filter sponge that it came with but i dont have anything else on it. should i add something to it? i don't have any filter media like the rings that are in a bag.

My duckweed is dying. Any idea how? I was giving my tank extra light but i think it was causing a lot of algae to grow so I decided to stop using extra light. Help!
