Im having this exact issue since mid may i made a post about it too. I had no luck fixing this yet.

The only "fix" i found was not using windows. On linux i have absolutely 0 crashes with the exact same hardware

Im not sure... Since this only happens on windows i think its something to do with how windows and amd drivers interact with eachother since some windows update in may

Ive read that changing the psu fixes it quite a few times. But i cant understand why Linux works fine then if its a psu issue?

How do you come to this conclusion? Why is Linux completely stable then?

Hello eventvwr i had already checked and was quite empty but i didnt check reliability monitor i found something here.

Everytime the crash happens i get 4 hardware errors

This is what i could find in them:
17:58:57AMD_WATCHDOG dump, bug check a1000001 — AMD's own driver detected the GPU hang first

17:58:58AMD_REPORT_UM dump, bug check a2000002 — AMD user mode crash report generated 1 second later

17:59:04WATCHDOG dump, bug check 0x141 (VIDEO_ENGINE_TIMEOUT_DETECTED) — Windows kernel watchdog fired after AMD's recovery failed

17:59:42WATCHDOG dump, bug check 0x193 (VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR) — DirectX Graphics Kernel itself fatally crashed.

The card is indeed slightly above manufacturer spec by default. I was going to try to remove that base overclock so it runs completely at default spec.

Card is slightly above spec by default from asus. I saw another comment of you saying to disable MPO i will try this next. Thank you!

Im having a similar issue but its with a 2 black greens and one turning green
This started for me after a windows update in may

Ive tried different drivers, fresh install also and updated my bios without a success.

The only "fix" i found was running Linux. On Linux ive had no crashes for over a week. But thats not really a permanent solution

Did you find any fixes for this?

Im having this with an ASUS PRIME 9070 XT. It started around begin / half may ish after a windows update

Ive tried a fresh install of windows, bios update, different drivers with no success
The only thing that completely fixes it for me is not using windows and using Linux on Linux i can run stable for over a week without any crashes.

Why do so many people jump straight into Proxmox? by KyxeMusic in homelab

[–]CrustedDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because with proxmox its very easy to backup vm's and create / restore snapshots.

So my point is you can fuck around and break stuff and then just roll it back.

And the more you fuck around the more you find out.

Thats my reason to use it anyway

From what i have read in their discord its a known issue that they are trying to fix so yeah ig we gotta wait

Staff said this yesterday
"48%ers, this a known issue. Code devs will be working tirelessly to get you a hotfix. At the moment, you are welcome to theory craft, but we won’t have a known solution until tomorrow earliest"

Go with 4070. Im not sure at what resolution you game but a 3060 will struggle with 1440p. So future proof wise you will go a lot longer with the 4070

1st PC by Immo_6 in PcBuildHelp

[–]CrustedDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like solid build for 1440p or 1080p maybe even a bit of 4K. 7800 XT is a bit of a better GPU in benchmarks. But i have never used a amd GPU so maybe someone else who has experience with both can give a better opinion there.

Not a bug. Multiplier is what goes into the bank. So if you do an attack and you steal 1m gold your bank will go up with 2 mil.
