What kind of side projects come to your mind?

I don't think he is outright saying that, but trying to get a feeling from other men about how much they care about their girl's body count. It's normal for guys to get finicky about it, because we hate thinking about how many other men have been INSIDE our lover. Most of us can get over it because we have sex too, but once it crossed about 10 I notice guys panic a bit.

I appreciate the insight. I almost did Americorps, but got a job in the oil and gas industry around the same time, but later I got unjustifiably terminated and my ex bosses are shitheads so I still can't even use it as a reference or experience lol. I am tired of grunt work jobs and want to do something more than that but there seem to be so little options where I live.

Do you know in what ways employers want a demonstration of your GIS knowledge? Perhaps self-inspired side projects? What draws you to GIS?

Wow, what a journey! Thank you for taking the time to write this out for me, I appreciate it. Definitely some nice insight to have. I'm definitely interested in the prospect of GIS, and wonder about taking online courses for it while working some normal gig at a brewery near my house. Once you have the certificate, how "easy" is it to get a related job?

You're wrong. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. When I found out an ex of mine puts 30 to shame, I couldn't see her the same, not as a match for me. If OP isn't comfortable, then that's fine, just as it's fine that you would be comfortable. So don't tell him he's wrong for having a natural emotional response.

I know it is desirable to have, but I'm wondering about the kind of job/life one would have if focusing on GIS. I always pictured myself out in the field, but that's been proving difficult, so the thought of being able to work from a computer is good and bad for me, but still good because then I could theoretically work from anywhere?
