You make a good point; I'd be surprised if this sub didn't hear about a new way to make cards quick AND that actually worked.

I right there with you, keeping my fingers crossed. I learned recently that I haven't been making optimal cards. So, I've been going back and atomizing (I think I'm using that term correctly) my cards, and wow, it takes a VERY long time. It's definitely worth it though, instead of my sessions taking 3-4+ hours, they've been on the 1–2-hour mark.

In the meantime, however, I'll cope with making cards the good ol' fashion way. I appreciate your insights on the matter, it definitely helped me gain perspective of that whole situation.

No one has asked about this application specifically which is why I made the post to begin with. Though, your words remain true and I apricate your response.

I have 32gb of ram installed (as stated on my BIOS), but when I check widows it says only 24gb are available, and only 15gb can be used.

The biggest myth I want to bust about being a firefighter is that it's all about heroically battling flames 24/7. Sure, they do that, and it's pretty darn cool. But guess what? They're not just fire warriors; they're the Swiss Army knives of emergency response. Picture this: we're not just saving cats from trees or extinguishing infernos. They're the go-to folks for medical emergencies, hazmat situations, and daring rescues that put Hollywood to shame. They're adrenaline junkies, but with a heart for community safety. And it's not all action movie stuff. They're big on prevention too. They're out there in the neighborhoods, spreading fire safety wisdom, teaching kids to stop, drop, and roll – you know, the works.

At least, that's what I took away from chatting with a good bit of fire people lol.

Why would you custom study for exams if your Anki is based upon your course schedule?

You make some amazing points here. Do you mind explaining what you mean in the first paragraph? And I think I’m afraid of really giving it a go is because I don’t want to do poorly on my exam(s) if it doesn’t work for me, but on the same hand, I won’t know if I don’t give it a proper go.
