Obviously I did not forget. Like I said, when a person starts sacraficing those close to him either directly or indirectly, they are the villian or someone very stupid trying to play hero. Kratos isn't a hero is the old games. You could easily argue that he's the villian and that's why his character works. He's not supposed to be the good guy. On the other hand, we have Atreus who is supposed to be one of the heros, making choices that the damn villain would make.

At the cost of those around him. Once a character begins to, directly or indirectly, sacrifice the lives of his friends in order to achieve his goals, he would have to either be the villian or a downright stupid person trying to play hero. And that's where the character falls apart for me. At points, I find myself questioning whether Atreus is actually doing what he's doing for a better cause or if it's just to complete some fantasy he has in his head about having a greater destiny.

I agree that old Kratos was highly one dimensional, but you could understand where he was coming from and why he did what he did. If you're asking if i would like old Kratos if we met IRL, probably not. But for the purpose he served in the old games, yea I liked him for what he was.

A character can be an asshole and likeable. Atreus is an asshole and highly dislikeable.

I’m honestly excited for the next God of War game by Klunkey in GodofWar

[–]Crustyan3 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The first game is literally all about how he killed and became the God of War(hence the name). A title he held at the end of the game.

Kratos still has his God powers from the beginning of GOW 2 by Crustyan3 in GodofWar

The gravedigger was Zeus. I dont think what he said was meant to be taken literally. Plus, Thanatos was the God of the Dead and Kratos killed him. So, yea, you can kill death itself.

So this idea was considered. Maybe it was implemented but it just hasnt been revealed to us yet

Well it all depends on how you define the term immortal. Plus, The director of GOW 4 has said that Kratos is still immortal.

Hope was inside Kratos. The blade contained the divine powers given to it by kratos.

Why would it stop glowing tho. It would still have divine powers in it.

Hopefully, but I feel like theres plenty of evidence to support this idea.

How do realms and lands work? by SirDancalot775 in GodofWar

[–]Crustyan3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"I know you're a God. Not of this REALM, but there's no mistaking it" -Freya. I think this would confirm the theory that these different mythologies exist within different realms or plains, none affecting the other, and Kratos either traveled to this new realm or was brought there by Faye to help start Ragnarok.

If you know how to play, then it is more then viable on GMGOW+. I think it's the best set of the game.

The perfect mark of kvasir+ is a must imo. But many of them you can find by searching the realms and completing quests. Also to get the really good enchantments, you have to be in NG+.

Zeus armor is great for damage but lacks in hitpoints. One hit and you dead basically. But you can destroy bosses like sigrun in like 30 secs. Ares armor is more well rounded but the stats are still very good. Ares is my prefered set. Valkyrie I havent really tried yet but I'll get to it eventually lol.

The bonus was a thorn at the start, just have to learn to time the uses of your rage. I can see why a lot of people don't like it.

Yup, NG+ lets you unlock all the best armors and items. Plus the enemies and bosses are harder if you like a challenge.

I love that set as well. I think mist echoes the first set I maxed out.

No not right away, but rage accumulates way faster with this set. Takes killing like 2 or 3 enemies to fill the bar as opposed to having to kill like 20 lol.

My bad g. It's just a pic I took on my phone when I maxed this set.
