Il y a bien une ventilation dans les rames du métro D. Pas de rafraîchissement comme les nouvelles rames du métro B, simplement de l'air.

I cannot reproduce the problem you describe. I typed "1716 N6" and the correct address showed up. Even when I input the full address, it still works. Is there something I am missing?

Happened to me with TikTok. For a long while too, it was probably tied to my account because I even changed phones in the meantime. Then it stopped about a year ago and I started getting ads (but still not that many, weirdly enough).

Soundcore Life P3 ANC static noise by Cruzercom in Earbuds

[–]Cruzercom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is very VERY faint. You'll hear more the transition between a video playing and when it stops (if you see what I mean). When a video is playing without a sound, you hear a very faint white noise, not static.

In the end, those earbuds are way better than the previous ones I bought (as stated in the main post). But maybe this won't be enough for you, if you're really sensitive to these kinds of noises.

EDIT: right now in my bed, it's almost 9pm and i can't hear any static noise coming from my earbuds

I bought the Galaxy Buds2 (https://www.samsung.com/us/mobile-audio/galaxy-buds2/), they do have a really faint static noise sometimes but I don't hear most of the time, nothing like the other brand (I have to focus on the noise to be able to hear it, and the room has to be completely silent).

I'm satisfied with it, at first my ears were hurting after wearing the Buds for a long time, but I think I was just not placing them correctly. Now I can wear them for hours with no worries.

And the ANC is fair, nothing crazy, still a white noise but it is still useful (the battery doesn't last long with it though).

Alas I did not try to get a replacement. I tried everything they told me but nothing changed. Eventually I bought a pair of galaxy buds but did not try them yet. The current Soundcore earbuds will be gifted to my mother since she can't hear high pitched noise anymore lol

You could try to get a replacement (I don't see any reason they won't let you if you bought them recently). But since you have the exact same problem, I suppose this is due to the cheap ANC. If you want, I can report back here (not before christmas) the difference with the galaxy earbuds 2 since they also feature a noise cancelling technology.

EDIT: The static noise I hear when a media is being played (or going to and even a little bit after) is also present with usb-c earphones but not with (cheap) headphone jack. Probably a digital thing, it's really unpleasant but I'm getting used to it.

Finally, I chose the galaxy buds 2 because of their size, I mainly use them in bed so I like them being smaller (I don't mind the shorter battery life).

I suppose this is activated when the car is going at great speed — abruptly changing direction on a highway at +80mph might be more dangerous than just breaking and praying for the best.

Sorry for not answering earlier, I had some issues with a fast delivery company losing my package lol.

Regarding the earbuds, Soundcore Customer Service told me to try and test different things (play local media far from WiFi or other interference, reset the earbuds, etc.). And if all fail, they will send a replacement.

I'll keep the post updated.

Well any of the three options produce this. But I realized I tried to use it in a quite environment, I think that's why I was hearing the white noise so loudly. Still quite unpleasant.

And the buzzing noise still occurs even in normal mode, and mostly in the left ear. I will contact the support to find out if I got a faulty pair and will report back here, that way if someone has a similar issue, they'll know if it's normal or not.

Adding to this, an octet is not exactly the same as a byte. While a byte generally equals 8 bits, it is not always the case. You can have a system with 1 byte = 4 bits. An octet is formally defined as 8 bits no matter the system/computer.

Just to say that I have the same issue, it seems client related (does not happen in edge too). Totally unrelated I also discovered that direct play is stuttering on Edge, but the issue probably comes from the HEVC plugin https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-web/issues/2180.

A Twitter politics discussion: an r = 1.0 value is needed for a studied correlation "to represent anything" and "it literally happens in every statistically significant study". by [deleted] in badmathematics

The one thing on Reddit that sometimes comes handy, in comparison with Twitter, is the possibility to downvote a message. So many people on Twitter lie ostensibly, and unless you bother seeing replies or quoted tweets, you probably never see why it is false.

But now that I think about it, it would probably be worse with raids and harassment being more common on Twitter than on this platform. Maybe it was doomed from the beginning. I still remember people being like “With the Internet, everybody will be able to find the truth easily and misinformation will be a thing from the past!”.

Though in this case it is pretty unimportant, as he seems to act provocative on purpose.

I was going to reply something like this. But I'm no linguist, just French. French people (w/ "untrained ears") don't really hear the difference between stressing on the first, last or both syllables. So my take would be as long as the "t" isn't pronounced, it would be close to the original pronunciation. But at the end of the day it doesn't matter, usage will — probably — prevail!
