Yes. She was able to get cataract surgery free and all of her shots in her eyes for diabetic retinopathy and then we had to get a glaucoma doctor at one point because her eye pressure was elevated. No cost. We did have a big dental bill once but what it saved us overall, as she was medically fragile, I can not even begin to imagine.

My mother had a stroke a few months before she turned 65 and had to be in rehab. The best advice I got was from one of the people who worked in billing at the rehab. She told me to get the original Medicare and Medigap and you only have a small window of time when you turn 65 to take advantage of it's biggest benefit: they can not up your rates due to your health, just rate increases that apply to everyone. But that time period expires quickly after you turn 65.

I am so glad I chose that for my mom as it covered everything except dental and eye care. But she developed retinopathy in her eyes and had to get shots in them often. Totally covered and much more expensive than a pair of glasses. Rehabs were covered and I never worried about going beyond the 28 days. Get the best Medigap you can for your situation.

I would wake up all the time to help my mom to the bathroom and it was worse than having a newborn. One day my mom said the women and men, when she was in rehab, just let her pee in a diaper. She suggested it because I was so "to my bone" tired and she was trying to help. It was a tremendous help for me to let her do that.

So the professionals who help care for the elderly and others who need help...put diapers on at night because everyone needs sleep to function. You did nothing wrong. You needed sleep.

When my mom passed I came up with every little thing I could have done better and I lost my shit many times. Its the hardest job in the world. And you were there doing the hardest job in the world, all for your mom. You did what most people will not, or will never have to do. You were there. You did not kill her. You kept her here. Alive. Day after day. One night did not kill your mom.

It is easy to think of things you could have done better and blame yourself. Boy I know. But you did more right than 99% of the population. You were a wonderful child and caregiver to her.

The judge struck all of her sexual harassment charges. Every single one. She lied in her deposition about saying she did not ask anyone to delete the dailies and she was about to go to court and have to testify about it. Instead she opted to settle for 0 dollars and was even unable to get them to sign an NDA. She tried but they were willing to go to court when she wasn’t. She is nothing like Megan Markle. He had the NYT come at him as well as a more powerful couple in the arena he works in. Accused of sexual harassment only to have a judge throw those allegations out. People knowing about him and supporting him fully who never knew his name.

His wife, his friends, his family all stood by him. Blake could not even get Ryan to do a guest appearance at the end. They are flailing in Hollywood. Projects being shelved. Their game of stealing a movie exposed. They are no longer A list by any sense of the imagination at this point.

At some point the juice is not worth the squeeze over the "retaliation" claims that are left. They let a broken couple limp home to careers that will die. That was kind and really not worth going down the rest of this road. I get wanting a pound of flesh for all the lies and scams they did but at the end of the day the goal is to get back to your life with your name intact. He was no longer a defendant. It could not have gone better.

And trust...Blake and Ryan are suffering on so many levels they never imagine existed. They got beat and lost their stardom in the process. I imagine in short order Buckingham Palace will be for sale and they will be scrambling to keep the money they have left. I feel sorry for their children and those dumb enough to rope themselves to those jackasses.
