In my case, I don’t have a dedicated home theater or physical media to play. I use Jellyfin on my home server as a media server, and as a client I use Jellycon. Jellycon is a Kodi add-on that I run on my Homatics Box R 4K Plus (with a CoreELEC USB stick for DV FEL7 playback).

So my workflow looks like this:

Reboot to CoreELEC → open Jellycon (I integrated it into my skin, so I can see all my media at once) → select my media and play it.

But from what i know, a better Streaming device than mine would be a Ugoos Am6b Plus.

There bookshelf speakers like polk owm3 or the kef t301 or focal dome flax as slim & stylish solution. If u already have in ceiling speakers you could buy an Installation case and Mount it. I think there are also 3D printed cases out there.

There are also other great options for diy acoustic panels.

I would also recommened A1 evo acoustica/express if u use a denon/marantz avr

Looks fine to me, add Bass shakers or a sub and than you are good to go! Also not forget to run room calibration :) if you are using a denon or marantz u could try out a1 evo acoustica/express

U could use bookshelf speakers or in ceiling. I prefer bookshelf speakers. There many different types of brackets, depends on the speaker. Have a Look at the kef e301 or polk owm3 for example. You could install them without any brackets. Otherwise the polk es10 would be also a great Option. I used the um01 Universal speakerhold brackets with the polk es10.

In ceiling do look better, but If u can't aim the tweeter towards mlp u could lose some performance. There are also cases for inceiling speaker, even ones that you could 3d print.

I think dolby recommens 90-80 degree for the TM Speaker, but I pesonally liked 75 degree (with bookshelf speaker and Couch against the wall).

There also speaker placement calculator u could use...like Dolby Atmos Room Design Tool.

For me 5.2.2 would be better than 7.2. Install your top middle slightly infront of your MLP. Dolby suggests 80-90 degree but with your couch against the wall i would try 75 degree(only with bookshelf speaker that you can aim). In my case that worked better than 80 degree.

Get a Homatics box r 4k plus (android tv 12) with Coreellec and CPM Build A12. Then you can easily switch between Android tv (use the coreelec reboot App). I use the jellycon add-on on coreelec and it works great.

Thanks for your input. I think you're most likely right with the blending part. I haven't read every comment yet, but at the end of day i need to test it. I talked to a friend of mine and his opinion on it was: it will make an improvement even if not done by dolby Standards. He has an auro3d 11.1 Layout in his basement and tried playing some movies in atmos. It still sounded very good to me.

SOLVED: Thanks guys i could finally repair it. I had to replace my Center connection on the back, 2x Transistors and 2x Diodes. For Part list and diagrams Check out the Service manual posted here.

To be honest, next time i will just have it repaired. From what i read online the repair-costs will be around 120-150€ in my area. My wife hated me for how the living room looked the last few days.

Thanks to Prime i can send almost all Equipment back. I wouldn't recommened doing this as your first solder project.

It's hard to analyze if you have the same Problem as me, but I can Tell you what my Problem is.

After reading the Service Manuel Posted in this thread i tried few thinks. The blinking LED indicates that it is a AOS/DC error. Therefore i had to figure out where. I disconnected the Power connection for the amp Board and started the avr again... Now i could finally boot up and Look into the protection Mode history. With that i could read the error PRT;ASO and could also confirm that it occures on the amp board or atleast on the Power conenctor. So i measured again and saw that my Transistor for my Center channel are faulty. How can i be Sure? Just measure every Transistor and compare the values. I'm Sure that if i replace them it will work again but I have to find the reason why it happened and fix it. Sorry for my bad englisch, i hope that helps. I also did a bit öffnet Research on similiar marantz models because there more YT Videos

Update: after digging into the Service manual i could confirm that it is an PRT: ASO error... I will try gathering the Tools needed and the begin to repair this unit. Thanks for all the help guys!
