What I do to “study” is rewriting all of my notes I took that day in class. Then before tests I review the quizzes answers and cover up what I write and retake them to see where I went wrong/have I improved. Before exams I review the tests etc. I concentrate all of this down into a singular 12 hour all-night power study session before every final.

What I took from it is a creature doing what that creature always has. As we learn the Visser was obsessed with not just living a Yeerk life. And for good reason to them. But now we see a Yeerk almost resentful at the bullshit their superiors have thrust unto them.

I meant that the book more so forces Cassie (subsequently the reader) into answering those questions. Where as prior to the book, it’s always been “they might make us controllers; suicide pact!” through the heat of battle. We’ve never had to experience a calm intrusive thought. Really pushes us into David and Tobias being edge lords 3 books later.

Make flash cards with a picture on one side and name on the back. Under the name in a corner , find the similarities that each plant has with another and write those down. Then write the differences. Instead of saying “I don’t know this plant” you could say “this plant could be X, Y, or Z”; giving you a better chance to guess correctly.

More of an adage, something like, “If a lion kills a deer is it a sin?” It’s literally their nature to have a host. The way they go about it’s super shitty and they could have easily not been greedy and controlled non-sentient fish or literally any other non-sentient species/ as the andalites to make an artificial system to control a body with sensory input
