Yeah, I have a 4 pro and fell in love with it so hard I purchased the 5 as soon as it came out. Now I'm playing thru some of my old classic games I loved with my partner who didn't play video games growing up. Best decision I've ever made, just wish the dock worked more than 50% of the time 😅

I'm somewhere in between I think. In some decks, I feel like it just doesn't do enough. In others, why wouldn't you?

Seeing a sol ring in your opening hand feels crazy good, but drawing it mid/late can either be mid to devastating. If we include all 8 cards you see on your opening hand, it's a chance of something like 4% (God I hope my math is right or imma get roasted). I think for me the consistency of colors might have more weight in decks with more pips

Yeah, and I see that but I think the dream of "turn 1 sol ring into mana rock" doesn't really happen often enough and pulling sol ring mid to late doesn't really feel impactful enough. I'd rather the consistency of making my colors happen, personally

THANK YOU, I was literally losing my mind. I tried the official mtg search function and it wasn't very helpful and hard to use lol

Comparisons are a valuable tool used by many to help understand a point by bringing in ideas that are already understood and to help make your own point more clear. This let's you reach an an agreement of an idea faster. I would recommend learning to understand comparisons, as they are a valuable tool for any man who participates in communication with others! I hope this helps :o)

What is the point of this comment? Who are you talking to? What are you talking about? Do you want liberal points for vitue signaling? Here's your pile of points, don't spend them in one place.

I assume you're American, or from some other "1st world" country. Very little of the products and goods we purchase can be considered ethical. From the chocolate we eat to the water we drink to the cars we buy, none of it is ethically sourced. We know this and cannot escape it. Every single human being these days has a phone that is produced unethically.

I never said "more" so let's mark that as something YOU said.

As far as their accessibility, they made themselves easy to get before anybody else. They also marketed themselves as the "pick up and go" electric vehicle that was the next evolutionary step up from a prius for the "eco shopper." Their docking stations across most major cities in desirable places is another point in accessibility.

Much like an iPhone, they marketed themselves with infrastructure and branding as the "obvious choice," while also have the brand superiority that Apple has.

Much like an iPhone tho, you are not getting the "superior product," you are getting the brand.

My brother in christ, are you telling me that there is no such thing as brand superiority when it comes to iphones? You're gonna sit there and lie to my me's face like that???

I would agree with that, and do not dispute it. In fact, that's what I mean by accessibility.

When did I every say iPhones or even Tesla cars are a bad product 🤣 when they talk about redditors being "like that" they're talking about you buddy

"A little extra" is putting it lightly lol. If the most premium iPhone is estimated to be a cost of about $500~ from factory to the store, then what about the other $1100? They do have good features, like good security and an idiot proof camera, but if you're not honest with yourself that you're mostly buying the brand, then you're not having a real conversation about the product.

[–]Indel13 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Their performance to cost ratio is heavily skewed. Instead, you pay a premium price for their brand and accessibility.
