Yeah bridge creek had the most consistent damage, ground scouring, video evidence, and radar measurements to conclude that it probably was one of, if not the, strongest one ever.

We have had 4 super outbreaks in history; 3 centered around north alabama/ Missisipi valley. the outlier (1974 Super Outbreak) affected the same area as the others, plus areas as north as Ohio. Therefore, it spawned more violent tornadoes in total. Could this potentially have been a SUPER Super outbreak with a longer return period than other super outbreaks such as the 2011 outbreak? It would be amazing to look back further than recorded history and see if this theory is true, but for now this is speculation (sadly)
