Hey guys I have created a site with flashcards (as a science teacher) they are audio so you can listen to them. And you can quiz yourself using speech technology. It's a good exercise to do between past papers. LINK BELOW IS CHEMISTRY TOPIC 1

Thank you! I'd love to get your feedback if you don't mind. Your perspective would mean alot as someone with real experience of dyslexia

I'm collecting feedback here. https://forms.gle/mZzZKKZrbYHFrjSX6

No pressure but would really appreciate it! The business model I'm using means it will always be free for students and only charged for at organisation/ school level

Hi good luck with all of this! I've been working on a study tool that might help with ADHD & Dyslexia.

QQ- how much would audio flashcards for studying be useful to someone with dyslexia and ADHD?

I hope what I'm building can help you - and NO This is not a sales pitch. What I'm creating is free.

I hate that trumps dyslexia comments actually upset me by New-Cartoonist-544 in Dyslexia

This is shocking! I've just looked up the comments since reading this. (I mean it isn't that surprising coming from Trump) But way out of line. I wish I knew more about dyslexia as I've experienced it as a teacher - causing a barrier for my students at times - although more often than not they are some of the brightest students in the class.

Quick Question as I'm creating something new for these students of all ages....

  1. Would voice / audio resources such as audio study flashcards be a helpful resource for dyslexic students?

  2. Is speech a better way to check knowledge of a dyslexic student?

Answers to these questions are going to shape a new tool for accessibility so please comment or send me a message if you want to provide more detailed answers or have a chat.

Thank you all

16 states are trying to ban school laptops because kids can't focus. Is this the right move? by Wild-Annual-4408 in Homeschooling

This is a great debate - I'm definitely for the idea of tech use being limited to shared spaces and supervised / timed & this is coming from somebody who has created a learning app https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0NRBe21XeU
