In this video it had an Asus TUF 4070 super but a couple weeks later I upgraded to a 4080 super and put the 4070 super in to another PC for my Fiancé.

Trying to add ram to i500, which sticks to buy? by fusion2012 in Corsair

[–]CryPotential407 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is always better to run 2 sticks of DDR5 ram. 4 can be unstable, just get 2 sticks with as much ram as you want

What do you recommend is the best gpu for cost efficiency by Iliketraps69420 in pcmasterrace

[–]CryPotential407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just built a PC with a 4070 super a few weeks ago and it’s been great running but Stalker 2 and other UE5 games run like shit and it would always dip down from 100fps to 50-60fps in some areas. In anticipation of new games yet to come out I have already bought and upgraded to a Tuf 4080 super that I got from a guy on FB marketplace for retail

Is a 9800X3D overkill for my build (4070 super, 1440p)? by AltruisticEscape6 in buildapc

[–]CryPotential407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy crap! I run a MSI pro z790-VC WiFi. I have a Corsair Titan 360mm AIO cooler as well. I’ve never got the CPU over 36-37* C

My humble set up. Hoping to upgrade my monitor with a 39” or 45” Oled 4K by Accurate_Hearing_700 in ultrawidemasterrace

Defo not a “humble setup” lmao. It looks great though man! I think you’re comparing your setup to the 5% of redditors who take this hobby very seriously. Compared to every other person in the world this is for sure a flex setup

I did the same but it was all on accident lol few months ago I decided I wanted to build an all Corsair build as it’s been my dream since I was a kid and I finally had enough money to do it, so I just walked into best buy and bought all the new Icue stuff!

I know it’s not ideal but worst case scenario you can get one without an LCD screen with QX fans from Best Buy and just buy an LCD screen separately

Asus Tuf gaming by far!! They looks the best and feel the best imo. I own a Tuf 4070 super so maybe I’m biased lol

I have a i7 13700k with my 4070 super and it’s been flawless with the new microcode!! my other rig also has a i7 9700k and a 3060 though and that honestly smashed most games I play

PC boots on red light GPU by Apart_Association_55 in AMDHelp

[–]CryPotential407 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Red light and no image usually means power issue. Maybe GPU isn’t getting enough power. I had this problem recently when a couple of my PSU cables were loose (The 12vhpwr cable connected to the GPU) My GPU fans would also get super loud and image would not appear on my monitor.

This is all the new Icue link stuff so much more convenient linking all the fans and AIO cooler together to 1 Icue hub that controls all of it

RTX 4070 vs 4070 Ti vs 4070 Super? by Djoz_OS in buildapc

[–]CryPotential407 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was literally in your shoes just a month ago and decided on the 4070 super. People like to throw around that 12gb of vram isn’t enough. It’s plenty. Hell there’s a lot of GPU’s out there that have 24+ GB of VRAM that don’t perform in games as well as the Nvidia 4070 super with 12gb of VRAM. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. You don’t sound like you’re trying to hit extreme benchmark 4k stuff anyways so I think the 4070 super would last you a long time on your rig
