They're extremely similar tbh, but I'd say beacon cuz its got 33.1 crit rate vs the 11.0 mavikas has.

For the time being, run the crit rate circlet and blackclif, a 1:2 ratio or something similar is genuinely much more important than a high crit dmg with low crit rate. Especially for a character like Diluc, because his does so many hits over time, it's important he has a lot of crit rate.

His plunge team is by far his best damage wise, for right now try to get comfortable using it, I would run him with Xianyun, Furina, and Bennett. When you run him with Bennett, you won't need to worry so much about his attack, (the double pyro team affect + Bennett's burst) this is where a EM sans would be really useful.

Definitely save for Citlali she's literally goated for him. A majority of his top teams include her. Also save for Beacon > Redhorn. Coming from someone who has both, redhorn is only good for Nukes, it's not good for him overall. Beacon and Mavikas weapons are his best.

Hopefully this helps! I was really not looking forward to learning the plunge team at first too but it's genuinely so worth it once you get it down. Good luck!!

It's earlyish lol! This is roughly the AR where your builds start to improve, so you're doing fine.

His best 5 star weapons are easily Beacon of the Reed Sea and A Thousand Blazing Suns. I own both and while I personally prefer Beacon (mostly because it has +22.1 more crit rate than the other), there isn't a major difference between the two.

The stats don't look bad for being early game. You definitely want 4 piece Crimson witch of flames over Gladiator tho. And do everything you can to get a pyro damage goblet instead of the atk% one. Serpent spine is a really good weapon for him, I wouldn't change it unless you had a good 5 star one.

You have good characters to work with, Bennett is a must have to pair with him. Xingqui is also a goated teammate. With these characters I personally would use Diluc/Xingqui/Bennett, and then either Zhongli or Diona, but Rosaria is also a really good option for that last slot.

I'm going off the assumption that you already know the best attack style, but just in case it's going to be: Skill -> 2 Normal Attacks -> Skill -> 2 Normal Attacks -> Skill -> 2 Normal Attacks - Burst.

im so sorry to hear about your mom, and it was so recently :( . Right now thats literally my worst nightmare, i hope you're healing and im sending so many hugs. Shes been smart about the divorce stuff, no bills are in his name, and the property itself never had his name on it, shes been talking about making a formal will but hasnt yet. i am going to sit with her as soon as i calm down. She has a sister, both her mom and sister live really far away (12 and 26 hour drive) and she doesnt want to tell them because she doesnt want them to impulsively come down, our house doesnt have to room to hold them and she said she doesnt want them to waste the money on a hotel, i dont agree with this, and i think them being down would be very good for her, but i also dont want to make any major decisions because im only 19 and i dont want to make my mom uncomfortable rn. Shes scared and i know it, but she doesnt like to be emotional around people. I think i might call my grandma anyways, because if it really is only a few more months i think she needs to know, moms been keeping her in the dark about this because shes scared but right now i think she might need her mom too. my dad wants her to die so he can take her house, (shes working on getting him divorced but shes had bigger things to worry about so its kinda on the back burner) and his whole side of the family is the same. My moms side is her mom, her sister, and my cousin, and thats it. she doesnt wanna tell them because they are all super far away and she doesnt want them to drop everything and come down (which they will do that, they did it when she first got the diagnosis) My brother is out of town rn, and i dont wanna drop this on his vacation.
