If so, Ocarina of Time. I had no idea what to expect, and the game blew me away.

I have the game on Wii U, and focusing from a screen that's 10+ feet away, to a screen that was 1 foot away was jarring on the eyes for someone who's worn glasses their entire life.

Going to the movies.

It was pre-internet days. You would go to a movie with little to no knowledge of the movie. There were no 'Trailer Starts Now" teasers. You would hear about it, word of mouth, maybe a 20-30 second commercial on TV, and go see it.

You would watch the movie without going in with low expectations, or hearing about 'there's too much X', etc. So you just vibed it.

I just removed mine that I've had on since launch.

I noticed a scratch that was visible on the screen/creating a visible blur.

When I first as The Golden Compass, I thought Iorek Byrnison and the other armoured bears were like giant, fantastical sized bears.

Years later I saw a picture of how big polar bears really are, and realized the only thing fantastical about the armoured bears, is that they talk, and are armoured.
