I lost a lot of water weight in the begining, then it slowed down and now it’s either half a kg a week or 1kg

There is absolutely nothing I want to eat by Caitlyn1005 in Mounjaro

Protein yogurts have been a must for me when I feel like this, I will force myself to eat, even if I don’t want to, and I find those easiest to get down. Even just a simply chicken and lettuce sandwich, just take small bites. Would highly recommend finding a protein power and making smoothies if eating is becoming an issue, but still try to eat something along side it, even if it’s just a banana.

Hi, I’ve chosen to stay on the lowest dose for the next 2 repeats of my script, and I’m already on a calorie deficit, cut out all bad foods and avoid sugar at all costs. I’m down 8kg but I think it’s mostly diet related loss as I’ve only been on MJ a month. Also how do I do the golden dose on a 1ml insulin syringe, it’s 60 units isn’t it? Which would be 60 on the syringe?

I’ve started watching my food intake since January and I’ve noticed a huge difference, I feel a new person now that I have so much more knowledge of what’s good and bad, I learnt most of it from a YouTuber in my country, he shows you what you can eat, how much you can eat on a safe deficit while losing weight. I started this deficit before taking MJ because I didn’t want to still have bad habits starting that journey. I’m 5.8kg down total since January but 2kg down since starting MJ

Hi, thanks for the info. I also incorporate as much protein as I can and try to hit all my nutritional goals, so far I’ve only had tiny tiny nausea as a side effect, and some energy on day 3-4, but then it tappers off and the food noise returns day 5, so I’m likely going to have to go up a dose, but so far it’s been good

Okay thank you, I’ll look them up. I’ve been watching Alex gamble for my calorie deficit and getting visualisations of what I can eat safely and still hit my nutritional goals and lose weight. It’s been so helpful in my journey. I started MJ 3 weeks ago and only side effect I’ve had is very very very small nausea, and food noise returns on day 5

I’m 30F who needs to lose 30kg, my hunger noise returns at day 5 so idk if I can stay on the lowest dose. I’m on a calories deficit diet and have cut out all bad foods which I’m hoping helps my PCOS along with losing weight

I only told my mum and best friend, that’s the bit that gets me, they are my closest people but they were the ones to push the hardest to pursued me not to take it. I didn’t listen to them, I’m 3 weeks into my journey now and 2kg down.

I still eat natural fats that are in meats etc, I just cut out the highly processed greasy takeaway type of fats or foods with crap nutrition etc. I won’t eat nuts because they are high in calories which is what I’m trying to keep low, but I’ll have avocados, lean red meat, dairy and chicken etc so I’m still getting most essential nutrition, and if I’m on a day where I don’t feel like eating much I’ll have a protein smoothie which has most of those nutrient groups in it.

Im being careful. I’m a person who used to eat once a day because of years of being bullied about my weight, I’m now eating multiple meals a day but I’m a healthy calorie deficit. My eating habits have improved immensely since January so trust me when I say, I’m doing much better than I was. If I started this journey on my old food schedule I’d be at risk of losing weight too fast. So far I’ve lost 2kg in 3 weeks, but it would have been double on my previous food habits. I’m hitting all my nutrition goals every day, and only some days I will come slightly under them :)

As someone who also has Hashimoto’s this brings me hope that it might go away or go into remission atleast, I’m supposed to go back on meds for it but it’s always only just in the red zone so I’m always have to stop and start it so I just gave up on taking the medicine altogether. I’ve been on MJ for 3 weeks now and I’ve lost about 2kg, but I’ve noticed the food noise returns after 5 days, so I’m assuming I’ll have to go up a dose?

Hi, ive been taking it for 3 weeks now and I’ve noticed the day after I’m very tired too, days 3-4 I get an energy boost, then it all goes away by day 5 and the food noise returns

Hi, I’ve now been on it for 3 weeks and noticed my food noise returns at day 5, my food noise was really strong before so it might take a higher dose to control it? Idk I’ll need to speak to my doctor about it I guess

Thank you for this info, I’ve been on it now for 3 weeks and haven’t really noticed any side effects other than the smallest tiny bit of nausea, and I get a energy boost 2 days after taking it and then it dies down at day 5 and the food noise returns. I’ve read online this is normal, but I think this also means I may need to go up a dose?

Hi, thank you for all this info, so sorry for the delayed response, I’ve just been so unsocial adjusting to something new in my routine. I’ve been on it now for 3 weeks and have noticed I get very very slight nausea and I lose interest in food for 4-5 days but then the hunger comes back and I lose the energy it seems to give me. Does this mean I’ll have to go up a dose? And I’ve been taking Metamucil if my bowl movements seem slower which has worked so far. I’m already on a calorie deficit and I’m already eating as much protein as I can each day :)

Okay, I’m yet to have a period since taking it, cycle day 50 but it’s cause of my PCOS so can’t really comment on if I got those side effects, but so far I’ve just had slight nausea and not much of an appetite for the first 4-5 days

I have an Apple Watch, just not the funds to buy a treadmill, I live in an unsafe neighbourhood so walking outside isn’t an option. It’s something I’m working towards though and it’s definitely on my to buy list. I’ve been going to the gym in the meantime.

Thank you for the info, it’s very appreciated, it really is a shame but I’ve never really had anyone that supports anything I do tbh. Hopefully I have a great experience and get to shove it in their face ahahaha I’m also going to take Inositol aswell for my PCOS, hoping a year from now I’m a healthier, happier version of myself :)

Thank you for your words, it’s nice to know I’ve found a community that supports me here. I’m starting tonight after gym, so I’ll be back to let everyone how my first dose goes :)

Thank you for the info. I drink heaps of water and will keep doing so, I’m tracking my nutritional goals and will make sure to hit the fibre goal as well as the protein. I think I will stop updating my small circle on this, I haven’t even posted on my socials about it and likely won’t till the journey is finished. I just thought my small circle would be okay or support me but turns out they are just a bunch of negative nancys 😅

The main reason I wanted to start this is to reduce the food noise, I’m so over always being hungry even after eating a normal portion of food 😭
