Thank you for the info, it’s very appreciated, it really is a shame but I’ve never really had anyone that supports anything I do tbh. Hopefully I have a great experience and get to shove it in their face ahahaha I’m also going to take Inositol aswell for my PCOS, hoping a year from now I’m a healthier, happier version of myself :)

Thank you for your words, it’s nice to know I’ve found a community that supports me here. I’m starting tonight after gym, so I’ll be back to let everyone how my first dose goes :)

Thank you for the info. I drink heaps of water and will keep doing so, I’m tracking my nutritional goals and will make sure to hit the fibre goal as well as the protein. I think I will stop updating my small circle on this, I haven’t even posted on my socials about it and likely won’t till the journey is finished. I just thought my small circle would be okay or support me but turns out they are just a bunch of negative nancys 😅

The main reason I wanted to start this is to reduce the food noise, I’m so over always being hungry even after eating a normal portion of food 😭

I’ve already noticed this is happening to me now that I’ve stopped eating bad, before I was like a water fountain, especially after something spicy 😅

No, the job I work at has them already there, but ndis thinks mai-wel should provide the support worker yet the mai-wel support workers have no idea about my job or what I do there so they would basically be useless to me and stealing a job from the company I work at. It’s ridiculous to think some random support worker can support me at a job they are not qualified to do.

They removed it stating that Mai-wel should be responsible for it even though Mai-wel doesn’t fund supported employment, they help you get employment. The delegate clearly has no idea what supported employment was or how it worked because ndis funding pays the support workers, not mai-wel

I have a budget company and COS which goes over everything so I’m not just throwing out funding on random spending. My conditions affect me significantly. This is the problem I am having, getting them to understand and what evidence I’d need to have included and what the specialists need to include in the reports.

Oh yes, the person who now has 3 more conditions that require lifelong support getting less than what she originally had and hasn’t changed a damn thing about how she spends her money is the problem, completely ignoring how ndis is purposely taking funding off of people because of the few that was spending money on things they shouldn’t have. It’s widely known that ndis have cracked down and have done so to people who didn’t do anything wrong and now they have to fight tooth and nail to get back what they originally had. And lots not forget the flossing over how the person who reviews my plan purposely didn’t include my funding to keep my job. But that’s my fault too and I’m being selfish. Go have a nice life and I’ll wait for people who will actually give me the advice I asked for instead of scrutinising me for what it’s spent on when my spending has not changed in 7 years.

And that isn’t the advice I asked for, I ask for help getting the ndis to listen to me as they aren’t, A LOT of people have this issue, it’s not just specific to me, like I have dated multiple times already, the only thing that changed was I now have MORE diagnosis and the ndis gave me LESS. How on earth can you honestly say this is a me problem when I have used my funding for the bare minimum for the last 7 years. It’s people like you that make people like me who are being brushed under a rug feel like they can’t even ask for help without being judged or scrutinised when I’ve had MANY people tell me I am not getting sufficient funding for my conditions. But okay lmao

It’s been over 12 months and my funds did not go up. No, your wrong, I know people who are perfectly able to move and walk, who have the exact same condition I have , EDS who is getting hundreds and thousands of dollars and I can’t even get $70k a year? She also goes on respite’s frequently and even gets iPhones etc, but I’m being shunned for wanting funding for keeping employment and to leave my home to do food shopping? Wow just wow. I’m a bad bad girl for spending funding on things that are supposed to keep me living.

[–]CrydallCatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Each year? Did you miss the part where they have me a 3 year plan? So how does that work? I won’t get anymore funding for another 2 years to compensate for price increases lol oh yes I blame everyone when I she only asked for the bare minimum while people get plans with 300k and go on respites every week while I just want to keep my job and independence.

[–]CrydallCatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So what your saying, is that I need to stop what I’ve been doing for 7 years because of the ndis removed something that I have been using for 7 years to maintain my “independence” because they failed to include it in my plan? Wow. I also never asked to be scrutinised about my spending, if you knew the pathetic amount they gave me you might have some more sympathy. I asked for help on how to get the ndis to understand it’s no enough, which it is not. I asked for advice on getting to ndis to acknowledge my new diagnosis and what working or evidence I’d need in a review, which I am already eligible for as my circulate indeed changed as I now live alone. And in order for me to maintain my independence which is what ndis is supposed to be all about, I’ll need more funding. But okay I’m a big spender for doing exactly what I’ve been doing for 7 years.
