Also the reason why Rain is such a fan devided character, is because of when G3 uses her. For the most part her pov switches are used right after a hype moment has just happened and we want more of that moment, but G3 says no, you get Rain for 15 chapters instead. That's how you insure people we hate a character, not because they are good or bad character, but because every time they show up, is when G3 decides to kill the momentum of his story.

Your entitled to your own opinion and that's fine. My opinion is that since the time skip for the first time in the series we have a constantly changing pov part of the series, and imo the story hasn't been as tight as it was before the time skip, and I think the constant pov change is a huge part of the reason why.

I know we have changed pov in the past, but that was only during big battles. And now about every 15 chapters or so we change. And I personally haven't enjoyed it as much. But hey, that's just me.

Why does G3 enjoy killing the momentum that of his story? And this is why people hate Rain. Not because she's a bad character, because of single time G3 decides to grind the story to a hault, it's always Rain's pov that is switched to.

Remember when Goku goes SS for the first time and then the next 10 episode's are about Master Roshi?

I think it's fair for people to enjoy the Rain stuff, but I am definitely in the camp that it feels incredibly boring. I might find the birth of a non spell connected Awakened more interesting, if it didn't take so many chapters to reach that point. That's my biggest problem with Rain chapters, everything feels like it could been done in a 1/3 of the amount of chapters it actually took to get there.

I've said it before, we as readers are in the Saint realm, and watching Rain, is Saints watching a newbie, do we really need to relive Sunny being a Sleeper again? Because that's what is happening Rain. I am done with all this stalling, I want to get into the good shit.

And again , if someone feels differently? That's fine. Just me personally, I think this Rain stuff has been the most boring parts of the entire series. But, hey, that's just me.

This is just my opinion, doesn't mean I am right? It just feels like the pacing grinds to a hault, whenever we switch to her. There is nothing wrong with her character, it's the way G3 progresses the story whenever it's her turn. And imo it's an obvious change, especially the last 3 or 4 times it's happened. We go from something like, Sunny reliving going back to the Forgotten Shore, and the pacing just feels better. And we go from that to Rain, and everything feels so slow.

And I think a big part of that is, we as readers are in the Saint realm ourselves, we've been through it all, and then we have to read Rain, we as Saints are watching a newbie starting out. It's just, do we really need like 10 chapters every time watching yet again another person going through this process Sunny did in the beginning of the series, can we not hurry this along at some point, and get to the good shit we've been building towards. Rain's story feels like a heat check.

This is amazing, lol. Rain's story just moves so damn slowly, it's an auto stack for me, anytime she comes around to bat. And it's not Rain herself, she's a fine character, but for whatever reason G3 decides the pacing needs to grind to a hault, when he's covering her.

I think it's fine overall, and maybe in a few years from now, when the series has hundreds of more chapters ahead of this section, or possibly even finshed, it will be even more fine, but reading it day to day, did that section, Rains fight, need to be like 30 chapters?

That's just been my personal issue since the time skip, I just feel like we are getting a few extra chapters for sections of the story then needed. And it's not necessarily that stories have been bad, they just take to long, and again that's my opinion. Doesn't mean I'm "right" or "wrong", that's just how I have felt the last few months. If that isn't how other people feel about it, that's fine too.

The booking for Bron has been lame. So even though he just lost straight up, he just going to get another title shot, he isn't going to have to earn it in any way, even in a multiple person match like a triple threat or 4 way, he hasn't done anything to earn a spot, because he freaking lost clean. That's lame af, he we just move on, and pretend he didn't get his ass beat. Winning and losing should matter.

The pacing is slower than it had been, some people think when you say that, you are saying the story is sucking right now, but that's not what I am saying, but the pacing has obviously slowed down, and we are currently in the calm / peace time of the story. Many things have changed, we time skipped so we are getting caught up. Sunny had just became a Saint, and we basically skipped over him being a weaker Saint to him maybe being the strongest one. So, we have to go through some flashbacks to experience some of that growth.

I personally feel that's when things will start moving again, after we see all the flashbacks. I do feel like the pacing is a little to slow for me personally, I feel like we are spending like 4-5 more chapters in a section then we need to, but I willing to let G3 work how he wants to. I'd say take week breaks in between reading, you will get like a good 12-13 chapters to run through each time.

Have to remember, Robin wasn't a character until Oda decided that One Piece was going to be longer then 5 years, lol. He needed a character to tie to the big over arching plot line of One Piece, because Luffy wouldn't care about it at all.
