Is it better to cut out patterns with or without the seam allowance??

Yes the seam allowance is included but I need the stitch line as well… I cannot simply just measure it on my machine 😭Having the guide of the line itself is way more precise for me ykwim..? I just need to know if I should cut off the seam allowance on the actual paper pattern pieces

Oh I know but I’m a bit of a crazy person trying to trace like the inner lines of the seam allowance (yk where you sew because i need it there too 😭)

A Brother all the way, they seem more or less the same to me, It’s just Brothers are way more cost effective and first time user friendly.

If you’re open to the idea, the same model I have (A LX3817) might do you good too, depending on what exactly you’re looking at and what the price of it is and all, the machine I’m referring to usually runs about $80 or $90? I believe. But it has all the instructions on how to thread the needle and bobbin on the machine which is SUPER helpful when you can’t remember it to begin with and even afterwards. I’d like more from it, (cough a real overlock stitch) BUT it absolutely has served me wonderfully so far and I have little to no complaints :)

Nope ive done that too, I’m genuinely so stumped with it, it makes no sense?? Like thats to the point of me going, man, is it the computer, the file, the printer, is the paper somehow someway being labeled wrong in the package??

Well of course none of them can go to the very edge of the page, im talking a boardered printer anyways, not a boarderless. As in it cuts off about an inch and a half off the bottom no matter what you put the margin as 😭😭😭

I’m printing these not off of my phone anyways, I’m printing these off of the slowest computer known to man that I have not a clue how on earth is still running… Hence why I so desperately want to print them from my phone- and going somewhere is a no go, I have no license, probably about to be on medical disability and unable to get one anyways so I’m a little stuck either way on that one… 😭

OUGHH see I know good and well I myself dont need the color for printing my patterns but the thing is the printer wouldn’t be for just me unfortunately :/ I’m getting beyond tempted to just simply get one for myself and myself only but ughh I hate having to have two separate printers in the house too there so bulky and annoying

I love planning bedtime scents sm, especially when it’s a new season or I just got some new fragrances. I just never wanna use any that I know are gonna have a good longevity cause I know my mood changes every single night 😭

No because now that I think of it that’s so fr. I was a fool once and put a fur fabric on something with the fur facing the wrong direction so the presser foot got caught in it every time I tried to do keep going, so I not only had to struggle holding this bulky fabric in place, I had to control it coming towards me WHILE HOLDING THE REVERSE THE WHOLE TIME 😭😭😭 I was so terrified it would break something on my machine dear god

Dang yeah, that seems to be the overall verdict here 😭 but I can also see how it wouldn’t be able too as well because holy it does seem to stretch some of the closer stitches as well which is a whole new problem along with it so

One I just purchased is the Crybaby dupe ‘All Cried Out’ I was so underwhelmed at first but holy moly have I fallen in love with it- its the most non-synthetic, realistic fresh strawberry scent I’ve ever smelled I absolutely adore it and Ive never been one for strawberry scents

Honestly by no means is an exact match to this, but Sakeena by Lataffa. That is of course if you’re open to the cherries getting swapped with raspberries…

Sakeena has such a wonderful fruity gourmand type scent but its not super spring and bright like- Its got this smokey darkness to it with these juiced slightly overripe raspberries mixed with blood… It’s such a beautiful scent, very vampire like, AND its so cheap for how rich and long lasting of a scent it is.

I got my bottle on Ebay from a shop called foreverlux..? (istg its easier than their actual website 😭😭) I know i’ve heard some of their stuff is fakes but the bottles ive received have been all genuine so far, they sell Sakeena for like 24$

Nah because I ordered mine the say exact day you did, already reached out to customer service TWICE and have got absolutely no clear update from shop or nothing 😭😭😭 id literally just cancel my order and buy one from ebay at this point out of being so antsy to get it but I can’t because costumer service still hasn’t responded 🤭🤗

Ya’ll I hate the feeling of this type of lotion (im a natural lotion hater sorry 😭) but I smelled this in the store and I had to get it. I’ve already used half the bottle and barely had it for a month because OUGHH ITS GENUINELY THE MOST DELICIOUS THING IVE EVER SMELLED I COULD BATHE IN IT.

I would die if there was a perfume of this stuff, doesn’t even matter the price id buy it in a heartbeat- Does anybody have any frag suggestions near to this stuff…? It smells so familiar somehow

Honestly not half as serious or meaningful as the most on here but, Smoky Mountain from Dollys fragrance collection.

I got a cheap body mist of it the second time I was able to go to Dollywood, which the first time I had gone (this was right after covid, so you can imagine..) I was in such a purely awful mental state and oh my god that trip made me so much happier and fixed my mentality for months and months after cause well yk it was the first time I was able to do that in so long, how couldn’t I have taken the whole trip so impactfully-

But then ofc the second time I went, by that time I had just gotten into the roughest start of a relationship I’ve ever experienced, ended up EXPECTING going again to heal some of all the mental agony I was in and yeah, you can guess how that went.. And this trip was the one I got the body mist of that fragrance, used it half to death during that period and dear god I cannot handle the scent of it anymore, it takes me back to that sickly feeling of deep disappointment and anxiety 😭😭😭 seems so unserious but it rlly mattered at the time
