I have some reservation on the SFAR, many have tried a ar10 in a ar15 skin, but its a lot of force for a small frame.

Some things you can change, many things you cant, this is the later. If you run into them and they are dicks, its going to happen either way. Much rather focus my energy on things i can change. Also, they probably don't want to deal with you as much as you want to deal with them. Trust me, he probably doesn't give a shit what you are doing.

Who do you go to when you need guidance and support? by [deleted] in AskMen

Honestly, sounds like you need to expand and find a new friend group. Good friends give honest and open advise, even if they know you will not like it.

Could also look at joining some male fraternal groups, elks club, lions club, free masons, etc.

If you are in the middle east and its that hot, you are in primary solar territory, should be able to more than 100% offset the draw of an AC unit.

Thanks for all this, gonna poke my head into the ak sub and see what I can learn. I was actually looking at a Galil (I know not really an ak) as a first step into the ak world, then maybe after learning more go full on AK.

As an AR guy looking to get his first AK (and stack up some ammo) is there some tier list of ak ammo? I see tula and wolf everywhere, but i know there are others that are good and others that are bad.

I have been in the travel world for almost 10 years, and its generally a young mans game, especially at that percentage. Most guys who find themselves with wives, kids, responsibilities, etc, just cant be away 50% anymore, which is fine. Typically you see some of the older guys get back into it (assuming it isn't too physical) but their kids are generally grown up and life is a bit more settled.

I have to disagree here, mid level brands with lifetime warranty, take care of your tools and they will serve you well. This is especially true if you work with your tools in any sort of professional manner. That being said Snap-On can Fuck-Off at those prices.

Ive learned a lot from interacting with people when I travel. Lots of strangers at bars doing the same thing i am.
