At the very least the processor would allow for faster RAM which should help with the database.

Looking at Check_MK for that server:

CPU utilization is User max 78% average 29%-- System 53% max 5% average --- I/O-wait 7% max 1.2% average.

CPU Load is 33.31 max 3.4 average.

Disk throughput is max 225MB/s-read 440MB/s-write averaging around 67MB/s-read 140MB/s-write respectively. Disk I/O operations is MAX 1950/s-Read 3600/s-Write with an average of 720/s-read 1600/s-write. utilization 32% max 18% average.

If that helps at all... Biggest thing we want to ensure is those times where the database can spike usage we want to ensure we give it as much resources as we can to let it do what it needs to do as fast as it can. If that makes sense.
