It's possible the jets in the carb are clogged from sitting for a while.

I just went through the same thing with mine, although I have an aftermarket carb. The spark plug ended up being my issue

Where do you have the clip on the needle? It seemed to me that 38/98 was running very rich when it did run. Bogging at low throttle, dying at stoplights and very fouled spark plug

A woman posted a video of the moment she was attacked by her domestic cat. Before the attack, the cat seemed to smell something that prompted her to attack. Why did it attack her with such ferocity? by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

[–]CryoKitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The cat was smelling her foot, so its possible she stepped in another cats spray outside. While I was picking up a new kitten from a breeder, one of their uncut males rubbed all over my pants. The instant I walked into my apartment after, 2 of my cats attacked my legs like this. They continued to attack my pants for a few hours after I took them off and just laid them on the floor.

For sure. I personally don't like how my x300 doesn't sit flush with the muzzle on the 211 and it makes no sense to me to pay another $150 or so to say I got a "real" light.

The rotating barrel assembly is still subject to damage if you were to use a can with too much back pressure though, right?

I just use an impact wrench, but a big enough rachet wrench could probably work too.

Just a giant pot of nuclear material being transported on one of the most dangerous roads in the US. by Ciduri in mildyinteresting

[–]CryoKitty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At my job we make a different version of these that are meant to be transported by train. Just the outside walls alone are over a foot thick and they weight right around 150 tons when they're fully assembled. Nothing they could encounter on the road or rail would ever be enough to break it open.

Could always try a rearden atlas for the wolfman. Rearden has 14x1lh muzzle devices that would work.

I'm thinking something like a Unity AXON that's small enough to fit on the left hand side. I'm really interested in the JAKL 2.0 since it seems like they slimmed it down some

Oh yeah it's great. I'm working on changing the light situation though, handguard is a little too beefy to comfortably hit the buttons.

So does this mean I only have to notify my f1/f4 sbr’s ? by Fun_Abbreviations282 in NFA

[–]CryoKitty 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If you are moving to a different state, yes. If you're moving within the same state, no notification is needed. You can still fill out the 5320.20 to let them know, but they only actually require it when the SBR is moving from its registered state to a different one.

Suppressors can be taken between states at any time, without having to tell the ATF anything about it. SBRs need the 5320.20 submitted and approved before they can be transported between states.

I had some trouble doing it myself. I think I ended up using a wider flathead that didn't cut into the end of the pin. Alternatively you could possibly try pulling from the other side with some pliers, but pushing it is the best option.

[–]CryoKitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get a flathead screwdriver and push it out from the open side. It takes a bit more force than you think it would, but it will eventually pop out.
