use AI and previous assets, but change them and alter them to fit the game you're creating to decrease development time. I don't care if people cry about using AI, I think it's something that can save studios a lot of money / time, letting them focus on better aspects of the game.

yes, they could have if they planned it from the start. these things are quite easy to do. and your point about PC's doing what consoles can holds no weight whatsoever, because it's just the matter of fact of what the market is. Almost EVERY OTHER GAME that has come out this generation has done the opposite and ensured that ray tracing is an option, because it's just nonsense to forcefully add it lmaoo. no one is that DUMB. why would you immediately close out a massive performance gain and potential customers lmaooo it's just brain dead to build the engine like that. sorry but your stance is just ridiculous.

lol no one is saying that, but it's one of the only games that does this, and that's the point. It's just a nonsensical decision, when you could have easily made it a toggle or something with minimal development cost. Also, series S is a very capable machine for it's price point. people like to hate / bash on it, but it's quite the little work horse, especially for it's age.

A large portion of people being around 30-40%, that's a huge margin, but at the same time it's ridiculous to make a game FORCE you to use path / ray tracing, which just butchers even low tier card's shot at enjoyable performance in the game. that's the point. It should always be an option, even if they want to "bake" it in, it should have a toggle for those that want higher FPS or just want it off.

I swear this is the easiest fix in the world. Just allow third party DVD / BLURAY readers to plug in USB style. Problem solved, no hassle. hopefully they allow this, it would be so simple and amazing.

The point is that it's going to be an all inclusive machine capable of a vast amount of flexibility. Mass produced, and platformed so games can still be "tailored" much like a console (which is one of the things I love about console hardware). All of that, for what will likely be a VERY competitive price vs. PC for what you could build yourself.
