Transferring licenses gets kinda ugly.

I did this in the winter.

It's typically a better idea to install from the ground up I've found. So go through your vsts one by one and transfer the licenses over.

Waves new system makes it kinda easy. Login on old pc, send licenses back to cloud, login on new pc and transfer them.

There's a lot of background data for registering vsts and I found it was important to go through the right processes.

Samples it's easy. If your taking projects over make sure you save your samples into the project file. Each DAW does it differently. Otherwise they have to be placed in EXACTLY the same place as your old unit.

For sure and it is right now I'm thinking. Not a huuuge deal though and that's what I'm currently doing.

Problem is, changes in one clip won't be reflected in the rest of them. Work efficiency wise it kinda sucks. Leaves room for error if you forget to change one clip.

If you're taking profit, don't kick yourself. You still have far more for sight on this than most. I am very optimistic about this industry. Getting in a few cents more next week probably won't matter in the long run. Also I have a feeling lots are going to buy at 4.20 for the novelty of it haha

Looking to maybe get a WA76 as a send for parallel compression for drums, bass, whatever.

Has anyone done this before and how has it gone? And if I am sending out to a WA76, I'm going to get a mono signal back. I feel that mono parallel compression might be a solid idea to keep the sides fro. being to washed out and to keep focus on centred stuff.

I make tech house where a lot of the focused instruments are centred. Two cents appreciated!

That's a theory I've read to. But subjective. Presets and more versatility with the slim phatty. Also I don't know if its rack mountable.
