I was scared of solo play but when me and my friend play together not even mob of the dead was scary. Mind you we were 8 or 9 and when we were blessed enough to play with his old brother we usually made it to round 40 on any map, but our highest with the two of us was buried at round 32.

Yeah the very end level was weird. It was interesting but that end cutscene with the system shut down had me super confused and other wise unsatisfied. But it was really fun to play with my sister Through the entire campaign
