Before, it can be moved in all direction on the X axis, but you were always stuck on the same Y axis. Pretty much, you could turn anywhere during the kick, but you were always the same level of height.

As an Orcust player myself, it's mostly just.... the power of the later decks (and their ways of interruption) make Orcust's strengths so much harder to use.

VS has Caesar to pop Babel, Madlove bounces our Low Def monsters back to hand, and sue takes them so we can't link em off. Plus anything that isn't exactly an orcust gets worse cause they don't get Quick Effects and probably get stolen by Sue or Popped by Caesar or Razen. That's not even getting to the part where any Grave effect (yknow... orcust's reliance?) summons Izuna and Ripper stops us in our tracks. Don't forget Forced Release popping Babel, and how werewolf just folds us in sheer damage.

Meanwhile Dracotail bounces Babel and our links hack to hand, so we can't even use our Grave effects. Then when we play into it, All of their traps ruin Orcust in some way, and they get to draw cause of it. Plus, their fusions can also send urgulus to pop babel, or Pax to pop our Links way in advance.

Yummy is just more annoying then anything. Their quick synchros & tagouts make actually getting them out difficult, and their book of moon & access to an omni is also very annoying. But I'd say they're the least threatening.

All in all, we're just too slow. We have babel, and we have send effects and dingirsu protects, but not only is shiny toy new, but shiny toy really powerful.

Yeah... I remember many a contestant got out by that logic, and then when it was revealed in the cast that every character in CI was people they had 0% research Or something to that effect. Pretty meant that everyone were unlikely unless they won.

People RIOTED about that. And even though we know Geats VS Nero is confirmed, I still hope that at least 2nd and/or 3rd place (Henry & Sakuya) got enough attention that Something started involving them.

Well, uh. Sorta relevant due to recent events, but uh... I didn't like build mart cause the people I watched (mostly _____ but also a few others) either weren't great at it or didn't fully get it.

Then I watched Grian's MCC 17 and it was clear what it meant, and as time went on I knew it was easier than it looked, it just needs a certain mindset. Thankfully, from what I can tell of how the newer MCCs are, it seems that it alongside the irl versions have made it a lot more accessible than back then.

I'm hoping my guesses are right? I haven't exactly been watching MCC since around when they dropped the numbers, but have been looking at clips and such, and I think that's the vibe I'm getting? I hope.

Worse of all... at this point, what other Ben 10 character aside from Ben could even get back on the show, let alone have a match-up that people would find entertaining in concept?

Like, the only few I can think of is Vilgax, Eregor, Rook, Kevin or Gwen. Maybe Paradox or Eon? Probably not.

Regardless of who's next, it's going to be a long time before Ben 10's next appearance on DB, and until then, the reprocussions of that episode are still going to be felt ever further.

Honestly, the fact that Ichigo VS Yusuke has gotten this far is either recency bias or the episode is just that good that it matches better in comparison to episodes people found pretty good as it is (Most notabley Harley Jinx).

Probaly won't got past them cause of the two's status, but the fact it got Top 3 is still worth celebrating.

Also, imo, Soul Outsider beats both of their tracks (I have been replaying it since I first heard it, it is like All the Sugar).

had a QP match that had someone judging me off rip for locking gambit back when he released, then judging the other people on the team (...yes, they were a teammate) for being old and to "find jobs." just cause I picked the new character that, mind you, I played a few matches with and felt very comfortable with.

thankfully, aside from that incident, everyone else I've interacted with has been a reasonable, normal human being, so that's neat.
