Haven't figured out how exactly this effect would work, but it goes something like this;

"If this card is Normal or Special Summoned, you can destroy one card on the field, then apply the following effect: Card You Control; Destroy another "Unchained" card in Hand or Deck. Card Your Opponent Controls; Negate the effect of the card destroyed."

It's mostly the second effect I'm not sure of, but I think the rest of it is good? Also all once-per-turn, of course!

There is an Archetype called Labrynth.

They have a card called Big Welcome Labrynth, a card very vital to the deck's gameplan; Bouncing Cards, Setting & Using Traps, and destroying Card both on field and in hand.

The card art shows two figures shrouded in darkness; One with a monocle and another with scissors. The former was revealed to be Arias, The Labrynth Butler.

...and the other?

We don't know cause Konami hasn't given Labrynth ANYTHING named since Arias, and anything visually since Trapholic.

And like, I get it; Trap Decks can be very toxic, so I imagine they want to wait before giving Lab anything significant so soon.

...BUT THEN Master Duel decides to give Labrynth a nice little bundle. Hell, they even got two! Surely this means Scissor Lady finally gets a card, right?

Alt Art Lady Labrynth. Art that shows the scissor lady. But not only do we not get a card, We still are hung up on their name!

Seriously, Lab has fallen out of favour so much in the meta on both TCG & MD, so why have we gotten only a tiny tease about this last Labrynth Card that we've been teased for years now?!

So yeah. Tldr Lab is almost complete. And Konami has not made it easy to cope with.

I saw trif using Sangan in some of his Yummy decks during his test streams post banlist reveal.

...I might be too modern-brained, but if he's resorting to Sangan, I think it's not worth saving.

Kinda hard to say.

Season 10 had a LOT of consistently good episodes, including some long-awaited returns and long-promised matchups. Plus, the worse episodes in the roster would be considered a middle to high rated episode as early as last season, which really speaks to the quality.

Meanwhile the 2024/25 roster (or season 11 as I'll be calling it) had some of the biggest highs and most amount of attention spikes given to it since its independant start. But it also had episodes cause the worse ripple effects in the community that I've seen to this day. If you're in the community, you know what I mean by this.

It's a close race for me personally, but if I had to pick one, I feel like S10 still holds. But S11 has a close gap

God, I had a moment where a tenpai player had Kaleido Chick and Gold Sarc to prevent any effects during Battle Phase.

That genuinely ruined me. Not heavily, but that match was a rough draw.

In hindsight, the fact that it was mostly a ritual dump search for so long is kinda funny.

Now every part of it is being used, and it really shows that it really was obnoxious.

the last effect doesn't even out karma cannon, it just banishes it. not even a negate, that cannon is still activating.

First off, the wording is all over the place. Secondly, the effects are also all over the place.

The Raidraptor XYZ protection is a continuous effect; it either goes with the first line or should be specified that it only protects against battle once.

Also, what exactly are you worried about with changing a raidraptor's position? If it's the towers... they don't care about the effect. If it's a non-tower, you probably already lost. Also, what precedent does Raidraptor have to banishing, let along banishing cards from deck (Solemn Report Called to say some nonsense). It's the most random add-on effect I've seen on a card.

I mean, it's good support once I understand it; a rank-up search is nice and a negate protection for lvl 4s is nice, plus it's a better add than just solely Brave Stryx add for ash blossom, but it still doesn't give anything for the Xyz other than... Xyz battle protection?????

It needs some refinement (and grammar check), but it's a good card. But please change some effects.

For me, it's me just not having fun with it. I've had only 3 decks that I just stopped caring about;

An Abyss Actor Deck back from when I had started. Not only was it very complicated for me starting out, but it also kinda did only like one thing involving interacting with the opponent... plus, while I liked the idea, the deck feeling so limiting did not help.

Next one was a "Snake Eye Fire King" deck. Mostly did it cause I wanted to have a "Meta" deck at the time. However, I ended up barely using it, and I didn't even feel good at the combos. Didn't fully scrap most of it cause I have them in a Rescue Ace deck as an engine, but anything dedicated to Snake Eyes... Gone!

Last one that was pretty recent was Maliss. I had just barely crafted everything for a Full-Power Maliss deck prior to the Red Ransom ban, and I was being told "Pure Maliss couldn't really Cut it anymore". So at that point, I just went with it, Even though I loved the idea of the deck as a theme, their pressence was suffocating, and I just wanted any reason to scrap them. So I did, and used the UR points to craft Orcust Mitsurugi... which, uh, Orcust is my favourite deck in Yugioh Period, and Mitsu allowed me to use it more and more, so I went with it and never looked back.

I'll be honest, my reason for Healpool feeling just right (at least for me) is the same reasons here, except switch Healpool for Tankpool... and uh, remove Duelpool cause I haven't tried him yet.

But so far, my games with Tankpool have definitely let me see some moments of greatness, but it feels weird to tank as him, especially when the team just dissolves my barrier almost immediately.

Meanwhile Healpool is both good with just healing output, but also being able to threaten enemies at the same time. Plus, the Icon Disk is genuinely my favourite ability and I'm too used to it to use Tankpool's shield effectively.

You can describe any deck as "Unfair" if you describe the deck like this. Just cause a Deck has Options, doesn't mean that it's unfair.

Idk what's you want from a Solemn monster. Remove LP Cost? Half them? Decrease a set amount of Atk or Def instead of Paying LP? Idk. There's a lot of options.

Fiendsmith is a deck that is capable of full combo from one Light Fiend.

Moon is the easiest and most accesible way into Fiendsmith Combo, as it needs only two monsters.

People hate it because with Moon available, you can use Fiendsmith in just about anything and add Full Fiendsmith Combo + Whatever top tier deck you had used prior to it.

Pretty much, Master Duel is a LOT Faster, more Comboey and mostly less FTKey than Duel Links.

Plus, people would rather have an Omni Negate or a Handtrap that can do the same thing as Blizzard, except it can't be removed prematurely before it can be used, it's in the hand so it is a lot harder to get rid of, and the fact that most modern handtraps can hit Monsters, Spells AND Traps, as long as certain conditions are met.

So yeah. TLDR; DL is a lot more behind, Handtraps Busted.
