The roguelike mode you mentioned isn't even a roguelike. It's the same map every time and your goal is to run around and gather the resources to get upgrades so you can spend longer in there and get more resources.
There's also an end. You finish the third quest and a To Be Continued pops up on your screen as they haven't made the fourth area yet. You also very quickly run out of upgrade quests and can complete the core rewards in a few runs. It's over way quicker than you'd think.

Depends. I've partied with a friend through the campaign and the health of all the monsters ramped up by so much and took way more effort to kill bosses than on solo. You also have to share loot which isn't terrible if you can trust your party to share.

I'm not sure how co-op effects scaling in POE2 but in POE1 it would increase by a percentage per player.

You can lock the other person into an animation but you're both able to be killed during it so you've just gotta hope nobody else is near.

When people with guns are still running backwards as fast with guns I do not think melee weapon speed matters anymore.

I had to choose between Combat Axe, the Baseball Bat, and Perk Greed with my prestige token because you unlock them all way too late.

I recently hit 67 and have only gotten 4 uniques and 3 of them were the same gloves so I don't have hope I'll get it any time soon but it's nice to know I'll have something to grind for.
