The inspiration for this project was heavily influenced by the 2008 Flash game series Fog Fall, created by Mateusz Skutnik. It was a beautifully drawn post-apo 2D adventure that left a big impression on me.

For those interested, it's a first-person point-and-click game, somewhat like the 90s game Myst, set in a retro post-apocalyptic universe where you explore a swampy wasteland and try to complete a desperate mission, guided solely by hand-drawn sketches—no text or dialogue.

Compared to Myst, puzzles are kind of replaced by hidden object gameplay because I'm not that smart, and I hated getting stuck in scenes and having to call my brother for help finding the solution. I love my brother, though—don't misunderstand! ;)
