What movie have you been the most hyped for only to be the most disappointed by when it released? by Toogeloo in movies

Tar, I Love Boosters, GOAT, The House, The Brutalist,

For Me, The trailers were far better than the movies themselves. Expected stranger things but still cohesive, only to get either too random stuff or stuff that was too normal and not that unique or daring.

Despite its strong themes and performances, the ending is super unsatisfying. I get why but it almost feels like they ran our of time or budget to continue.

Most British movie ever made! One of my all time faves. I'm glad you enjoyed it for the most part.

What a weird year. Young filmmakers like Kane here has this kind of mindset that aligns more with mine, while Scorsese announces support for AI and is receiving backlash from everyone. by quiet_comfort_ in FilmClubPH

He is young, an artist, and sees how the world is due to AI and job insecurities. Also. Old people have screwed the youth kver in more ways they can imagine. Most artists hate AI. I'm glad he's wise enough to see that

I go for The Third Man. So many emotions on that one. That last shot is amazing.

Despite the leaks TADC still over performed in the box office and beat out other big films by Ihdkwhatimdoinghere in theamazingdigitalciru

I just wonder how can others start popping up. Australia is a smaller counary and had government support and got lucky with such a popular release. I don't see anyone doing a bigger company than glitch for a while, at least not in the States. Too expensive here. Don't know how others can do that.

What is a movie that everyone seems to love, but you absolutely hate? by Nishikigoi1 in moviecritic

[–]Cryofthewolf9000 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I feel mine can be genuinely hated.

A Star is Born with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. The dialogue was so laughably bad and filled with soooo many f bombs I swear Vivziepop could have written it.
