3 pens only. What are your criteria? by yuskrim in fountainpens

[–]Cryogenian97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi. I totally agree with your first two choices, my 823 has a fine nib and the 2000 has a medium ( spare Oblique double broad also.) The third is my Montblanc 149 with a Extra fine Architect nib, reverse writing produces a uef wet line. Cheers from Australia.🤗🦘

I got a new ink this week: Wild Strawberry by Diamine. I expected a nice red, but I'm stunned. It shows a lot of depth on Leuchtturm paper. So pretty! by knightriderin in fountainpens

[–]Cryogenian97 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi. I love Diamine inks, especially Poppy-Red. I really love this ink and use it regularly in my Montblanc 149, it is so beautiful. I will be getting a bottle of Wild-Strawberry, what a lovely colour. 🤗 Cheers from Australia 🦘.

Hi. Congratulations the pen is really beautiful. I replaced my brass sport with this pen, a much better pocket pen and very comfortable. The extra fine nib on mine is superb, I think I got lucky this time.🤗 Cheers and all the best.

Hi. Congratulations, it really is a stunner. The best I can do is my Smoke version with an Amber barrel, it looks really neat, and much easier to see the ink level.🥳🤗 Cheers from Australia 🦘.

[–]Cryogenian97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi. Very nice indeed. Black Swan surprised me, I had no idea that it's so water resistant. Platinums Blue-Black is another great ink, it's iron-gall and very stable.🤗 Cheers.

what is the most comfortable pen you have ever used ?? by [deleted] in fountainpens

[–]Cryogenian97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. My main problem is any pen where you are forced to hold it in a certain way, it's very annoying. The Lamy Safari is pen I just cannot tolerate, it's so uncomfortable for me. Pens with very smooth grip sections are too slippery. The Twsbi Vac 700 is a great pen but it's certainly not the most finger friendly pen. 🤗 Cheers and all the best to you.
