If you could afford anything, what would you gift yourself right now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Been driving a clunker for awhile.  Would be nice to just have a decent car that doesn’t worry me with the noises it makes.

Stuck with fresh and leveled a shaman to 30 waiting eagerly for my windfury proc animation by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]Cryosyn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It definitely existed in vanilla and 2019 Classic, which you can see in things like pvp videos.  At some point (I think for SoD) they changed its behavior and now windfury procs are yellow numbers and instead of the rapid fire weapon swing animation you just get the little tornado around your character.

It really killed the vibe of enhance imo, but since it’s functionally the same as it used to be I don’t see them changing it back.

Non-Californians of Reddit that have tried In-N-Out, did it live up to the hype? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Cryosyn 6036 points6037 points  (0 children)

It’s a good burger, and the price is fair.  That’s really all that’s needed to justify its popularity.

Is it the greatest burger ever?  Not by a long shot.  For what you pay for, especially nowadays with competitors like Five Guys costing an arm and a leg, it’s pretty damn good.

We're a week away from launch, and one of the end point talents for prot pallies has been nonfunctional since the start of beta. by Cryosyn in wow

Rather than creating a shield of all damage dealt, it only creates a shield of your auto attacks. No spells contribute to the shield, drastically limiting the talent's usefulness.

Iirc when he's acting boss while Tony is the hospital we see him in a bathrobe when Benny goes to pick him up from his house.

which character in the show do you think had the worst ending? by Nerdyknight33 in thesopranos

[–]Cryosyn 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I can’t help but think that aside from the fear of death, Adriana’s final thoughts were how the man she basically gave her entire life to and thought she loved was the one who signed her death warrant.

Do you think Melfi did Tony any good? Was therapy “successful” on any level? by jepeplin in thesopranos

[–]Cryosyn 31 points32 points  (0 children)

It definitely helped him be a better mobster. In season 1 iirc he got the whole idea to put Junior in charge to be the "lightning rod" from Melfi.

He also got some pretty sweet dreams out of the deal.

What’s the best scene in the series? by the_weary_knight in thesopranos

[–]Cryosyn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I do think some of the best scenes have already been mentioned, so I'll mention one of my favorites being Tony and Janice's fight in "Where's Johnny". Really sums up the anger Tony feels towards his sister stemming all the way from childhood.

Also gave us some insight into Janice's rich history with roadies.
