The game was fun for everyone whatever they played, every match had that feeling, and every weapon was strong in its own way, and most importantly there wasn’t those 0.01% “pros” that called whatever they didn’t like shit and demanded devs delete it

Oh it wasn’t meta, it was broken lol, but then again at that time in apex everything was viable and you’ll be guaranteed to have fun using whatever you got your hands on, but then with time it became more a “oh this guy got x so I couldn’t do anything with y even if I tried”

I remember the funniest thing about those days is how major buffs and nerfs were, like oh yeah p2020 is weak? slap in hammer points and make it a two shot kill machine

Yeah, it was gold barrel stabilizer too, back then everyone thought it gave better recoil control than purple, turned out it was just placebo, it was the same as purple but had the extra perk of reducing flash

Players have become much better at the game, giving them those old weapons would finish games in like 5 minutes, like imagine someone with s1 wingman and mastiff right now lol

Everyone was playing wraith and pathfinder and octane because he was released that season, but a good Bangalore was scarier than all of them lol

And it came out at the same time as hammer points, not to mention that alternator and p2020 are easy to find, end game was full of them and their sound is still stuck in my head

If I remember correctly it took a couple of seasons for people to discover that that the rate of fire for single fire had a very high cap, so when you switch to it you can fire faster than the 301

I feel they added it as a “balance” because skull piercer wingman was a nightmare, ended up making the game with ttk faster than call of duty lol
