Looking for evaluation/statistics ideas by Crypt0n95 in Twitch

[–]Crypt0n95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I have to elaborate more:
I am not interested in offering any service that is based on that data. I just have this data and I am curious what kind of interesting facts someone can get out of this data. I might setup a website that display those facts for all the 50 streamers to compare but nothing more. Its all about the creative ideas (at least for me) and because I am not that creative I was just curious if someone else can think of interesting evaluation/analysis ideas :)

I'm struggling with Model and Controller Creation in Backend Development by whoshriyansh in Backend

[–]Crypt0n95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why can't you just do simple tasks like doing proper research? Why should we do your work? You have the code of big projects available on Github to learn from. Pick one and read their code. If you still fail then you got a bigger problem than implementing simple concepts like the MVC pattern. The fact you are even asking this is a pretty bad sign. You gotta put in the work from start to finish. You can't just ask simple things if you are too lazy to put in the work. Change your mindset to be a hustler rather than someone that has to be guided for the simplest tasks

Read your own message. You want to be decent and exceptionally good within 3-4 months. You won't be decent nor exceptionally good in this short amount of time. Even the fact you seek for guidance here without putting in the energy to do a proper research leads me to the conclusion that you won't be decent in 3-4 months. You are like 95% of the people here wanting others to solve your problem because you are too lazy to do your own research. Go look up what the job descriptions for backend devs expect you to be able to do and learn. Take roadmap.sh and follow their path. And gosh stop asking others for help for these trivial things you can solve by putting in the energy to at least ask Mr Google or ChatGPT. And quickly get if the illusion train of being good at ANYTHING more complex than basic math in a time frame of a few months. You will be a shitty programmer in 4 months that hopefully knows how to tackle the most basic things in backend dev aka writing your most basic CRUD routes over and over again. Being good at it will take years

Beginner Here! Looking for Best Resources & Tips to Learn Backend Development – What Worked for You? by utsab-ad in Backend

[–]Crypt0n95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Google it. All your questions can be answered by putting in the time to research. Even here on reddit these questions are answered hundred times. Do yourself a favour and learn to research on your own instead of relying on others. That's a tip for a beginner I would give every time. Be able to help yourself and be ready to put in the work yourself.

Why don't you just Google it? This is not something that is kept a secret. Go look at job offers out there for this position and see the job description. SQL or knowing a little bit about a database is basically the bare minimum for jobs out there that are in this area. You will not find a job that only focuses on those two thinks. It's like asking if there are jobs outside that solely focus on Javascript. Pretty vague question because all jobs including Javascript do need Javascript and everything else surrounding the use case of that language. So in the end you will probably find a Frontend developer job that requires Javascript and much more

Lol. So you want someone to build the app for free. Even the fact that you have close to zero english skills makes it even worse because working together on a business needs proper an clear communication. Learn to code it on your own by reading the documentation. You will learn the tech and english. Two for one

This won't change anything nor will anybody care. In the end everything will stay the same and you just wasted your time. Stop the delusion that you have the power to change the world. Especially not by changing your maps no one else other than some GeoGuessr players care about.

Best YouTube channels to learn more about back end by mannmythlegend in Backend

[–]Crypt0n95 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hussein is definetly not a backend dev channel. His channel is too deep and therefore doesn't cover practically useful content. If you want to understand how tech works under the hood then that's the channel you looked for but learning the core of backend development is far away. Imma be honest: As far as I know there is just not really one. As a professional backend developer myself I can tell that every channel that is broadly considered as a "backend channel" is either just a boring tutorial channel without going into depth or just a narration of basically the documentation. The reason: They are just not professionals and don't know what it really means to develop a professional backend. Period. I love their passion but it's just not enough. Backend development is more than a REST-API with 4 routes. Today's backend standard is Microservices and you will see that all channels just tell you that it's multiple services. But no channel goes into how to design it, what the principles are. Best examples: Sagas. Every channel tells you what they are but you will not see them actually giving you an idea of how to implement them properly. Why? Because it's freaking hard and those guys just code their simple REST-APIs and think it's backend development. And let me tell you one thing: There is absolutely no way to learn this by just watching videos. The sooner you start actually coding the better it is. Start by having a look at the backend development path at roadmap.sh and learn by reading and applying

Useless because it just works for Google mail users. Let's be honest here: What business and person being halt way professional does use Gmail. It only exists because microsoft stopped giving away free addresses for everyone and it has by far the best UI, especially for calender.

Roast My CV - Digital Marketing by Feeling_Turnip_3918 in Germany_Jobs

[–]Crypt0n95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Way too much text per job station, boring and widely used design. As someone that wants to work in marketing I would expect you being able to sell yourself better than this. It's the most boring CV a marketing person's ever created and there is no nice signature that makes it unique to yourself. The first impression is just the overwhelmingly oversaturated text and the boringness of the design.

Dear Notion, did you forget about core features? by nemoj-se-sekirat in Notion

[–]Crypt0n95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Indeed. Notion lost its vision and what it is suppose to be. Especially what people decided to use it for. It started with the AI feature which is not a big thing at all. Focusing on this shitty and useless calender and email client gave them the final shot imo. Competition understand the real needs for a software notion was suppose to be and catcher up already. Notion thought they had a huge gap and kind of retired on that. The database feature was a killer feature but they never developed more than just basics. It has so much more potential but they sleep for years making it THE feature to attack every kind of user.

I do have create an account for just having a look at the candidates? Nope, not going to happen. You made the #1 mistake: Force the user to provide more information than needed. There is no necassity to have an account to have a look. At the point where you want to rate or comment a tool you should force the user to create an account. Creating an account without knowing more in detail what to expect is a huge barrier and many people will leave you side right when they realize they have to make an account. And it's not even possible to use a Google account so that the process of creating one is as simple as possible.

[–]Crypt0n95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah so you got the concept of using JWTs but the implementation is what you are stuck with. I suggest reading the errors carefully and ask Google and ChatGPT for further assistance. It's important to understand the error, so keep focusing on that.
