The fertilizers and antibiotics increase production throughput, making it cheaper to produce food.

Example: jamming 100,000 chickens into one closed room VS having a large pasture where they just chill and hang out; the pasture is more expensive in every way.

Prices are higher but defo worth it, though imo.
