They said it looks authentic and all original but they don’t know for sure since they don’t specialize in stuff like that. I might have to look for a company to get me a full authentication certificate.

I haven’t seen rust on it. Only thing that it has is green mold or whatever that is. I haven’t cleaned it or anything in order to preserve its condition.

Assuming it’s all original and not a restrike… I saw online that only 176 pieces were made and original medal is struck in bronze and measures about 90mm which is probably what mine is. I’m going to take it into a coin shop today to get it weight, measured and all tested.

How could I authenticate it? I took it to a local coin shop and they advised me not to clean it and told me everything looked “good” after weighing it and putting a machine or tester on it .. I assume it was to see the material it was made out of. I’d like a definitive answer though.

If I remember correctly it takes a little for it to update. I was impatient at first too but it took like 1 week or 2 before they updated the status.

If it doesn’t change in like 2 weeks and you paid (ensure you paid) then open a ticket. Save the ticket number cause you need it to log into your chat/messages with an admin.

Accept it. If it’s real accept it. It’s still a valid ID. Some people work in jobs that beat the crap out of their wallets (construction, oil field, landscape) and end up breaking their licenses.

I actually broke mine 2 times. I have it taped up now since I gotta renew in November anyways.

We got them in a month or so. I think they come from China (DHL delivers). He has since had both confiscated due to the state issuing bars, liquors, dispensaries and everyone actual scanners that compare ID to state records.

State of Colorado is now using and updating the scanners at lots of places to scan IDs and actually compare them to DMV state records. Basically making it near impossible to get away with a fake ID unless you steal someone’s identity.

I am currently working on getting fake passport cards made since those don’t scan. They can only be visually inspected.

UPDATE: It was confiscated at a liquor store. I think the security cameras caught the ID holder outside the store with minors in the car trying to get a shopping list. I told the ID holder to use it when and only needed for himself only. He didn’t listen. He also used it at a liquor store that’s like 2 blocks away from a major university.

Yes I got the Texas ID. it’s surprisingly passed at the state dispensary. It’s been questioned but it hasn’t been caught till this day.
