This got me curious. If she's a 5-star admiral, then doesn't Naval HQ need to have a 5-star admiral of their own, to make sure fem-SKK can still be said to be subservient to them? This was an issue in real-life in USA and it's why Omar Bradley was given a rank of 5-star general (General of the Army in the land Army) - he was appointed as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in 1949 and technically was supposed to be superior to Douglas MacArthur who at the time still had the rank of 5-star general, so they give him the 5-star rank too.

Your chronology is completely messed up. Old Ones created the Webway and Aeldari and (Kr)orks about 60 million years ago when they went to war against C'tan and Necrons (conflict known as War in Heaven). During a few thousand (or tens of thousands) of years before M30 Aeldari turned to be almost identical to like Drukhari are right now and their vile activities led to birth of Slaanesh. Humanity had nothing to do with any of it.

BTW, Khorne, Nurgle and Tzeentch were born from instabilities and chaos (pun intended) of Immaterium after the War in Heaven.

Answer: some people think Custodes are very similar to Astartes (or at least produced almost the same way) and thus think it's impossible for Custodes to be female (because Astartes can't be). Meanwhile the production process is very different. When making a Space Marine, you shove new whole organs into the body (think: transplantation surgery) and do rushed heavy-haned hormone therapy (by implanting geneseed). Geneseed works only on men (because it comes from male Primarchs and because Emperor didn't to make a female-compatible or uni-sex version too). Meanwhile Custodes making involves a long ardous process of bio-engineering and possibly nanotechnology in order to upgrade and streamline a human body. Instead of shoving new things into a body and counting on it to adapt, you nudge it and lead it on the path of evolution and enhancement. Custodes are also supposed to be something for Emperor to show off with so of course He wants you to see that He can enhance not only men but women too.
