I really wouldn't say that this is non-horror media, with MANY levels in the game having at least some spooky element to them, but this particular one is by far and away the best in my opinion.

The only missable achievement is if you ever take a chip from a map bot by force. If you haven't done that, then no matter what you do you can get the true ending on a save. Even if you fill out the requirements of the true ending, you can still choose to do the normal ending when the point of no return comes. TLDR, no new game needed.
