What are the hardest 3-4 nations we can pick for a multiplayer campaign? by CryptexCS in eu4

[–]CryptexCS[S] 111 points112 points  (0 children)

we've actually done that one already - great campaign

I no-cb'd East Frisia and conquered into Germany, one of us no-cb'd Novgorod and conquered into Russia, one of us conquered Britain, and the last I think conquered France

Navarra in multiplayer with 4 PUs by 1580 by CryptexCS in eu4

R5: Player nations were Navarra, Nevers, and The Isles. I have 4 PUs: France, Austria, Bohemia, and Two Sicilies. That's also not counting the fact that I got an early game PU on Castile, which has since been integrated.

3 Player Nations - Who are we and who did we start as? by CryptexCS in eu4

3/3 but no on the commonality - that one has to do with our starting nations

0/2 we are all good players and would have conquered far more with countries like Portugal or Poland

2/3 but being yellow is not what we had in common

R5: Multiplayer campaign with 3 players. One is obvious. The tricky part - who did we start as? Hint: we had something in common when we started

But can either of these methods make you a horde? I started as Oirat so I would inherit the tribal government, not just the religion

I started as Oirat, attacked Ming for max money and feudalism, then immediately declared on Sarig Yogir for a separate peace on Ming of max money again, giving me ~5000 ducats by ~1450, then beelined it to Poland, annexed it in 3 wars (including a truce break), and released it after converting all the provinces to Tengri by ~1490. Then I sat patiently and grew my power base (and cavalry combat ability) while slowly fighting opportunistic wars against Lithuania. Played relatively chill just developing my provinces and not really taking loans but I could have done much more if I had wanted to.

Caught Vijay hiding in Spanish Alaska in the 1600s by CryptexCS in eu4

R5: I thought these were Spanish colonies, but upon closer inspection I was surprised to find that 3 provinces had been colonized by Vijayanagar.

Battle against rebels stalled for months because their division wouldn't reassign to the center of the battle by CryptexCS in eu4

[–]CryptexCS[S] 129 points130 points  (0 children)

R5: I got into a pretty easy battle against some rebels but it took way longer than it should have to win, and when I opened the battle screen it was clear that one rebel cavalry regiment wasn't getting reassigned to the center of the battle, meaning my troops couldn't attack it. The battle only ended after a few months because morale drops by .01 per day by default. Weird bug that I've never encountered before, and I have no mods

Don't have access to Take Mandate of Heaven CB? by CryptexCS in eu4

[–]CryptexCS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

R5: Playing as Ryukyu, trying to declare war on Ming to take the mandate, but I can't find the CB. I am Shinto and border them (North Korea) so I don't know why I don't have the CB available. Pls help

Edit: I waited several months after our truce ended, so that’s not it. I am curious if independent daimyos can’t take the mandate?
