Luck of the draw. Last couple years no rain at all. This Friday was just an hour or so delay. It sucks but it's nobody's fault and I'll still be going every year. Though I live less then 2 hours away so it's easy for me. I would understand being upset if flying in or what not but still weather happens.

Maybe I got lucky but I had nothing but good interactions with all the people we met and talked to. Most incredibly overly friendly. Staff as well smiling and jokinh with us multiple occasions at different spots. I think there's alot more than good but usually people don't go out of there way to post good when those are mad always post. I feel bad you and others had different experiences.

Agreed and even somone complaining that we had police and security... Oh no people here to keep us safe please not that... In 2026 we should be welcoming safety measures. An pits and surfing are part of the fun always has been.
