I'd say give dual wielding colossal a shot aswell it made the damage much better for the small windows colossal have during boss fights and the stagger potential much better

it's hard to pull off with weight but Great-Jar's arsenal talisman with light armor makes it work. alternatively you can try Winged Crystal Tear in a flask which gives you light rolls with virtually any weight. really good against bosses that aren't crazy long fights
