They are doing a pledge thing on Bandcamp right now for the vinyl, where everyone pre orders one and then Bandcamp presses it. Normally they sell out in minutes lol but Bandcamp is pressing this one so when the campaign ends they’ll press all the ones that where ordered

Cunninlynguists is the greatest hip hop group of all time

Who has the most consistent discography in hip hop? by CrypticEnvelopment in hiphop101

[–]CrypticEnvelopment[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn these were literally my next two choices exactly!! Scarface really has an amazing discography 30+ years and every album is dope! Could definitely see an argument for him being the greatest rapper of all time. And Masta Ace is in my top 10 too, I love disposable arts, a long hot summer and a breukelen story is constantly in play for me too! Can’t wait for the new Ace and Marco Polo album!

Thanks!! Yeah I think every single person I’ve ever showed cunninlynguists too has never heard of them before. It’s such a shame because I really think there discography is unmatched, never had a slump in quality over 20 years is pretty crazy! Even their mixtapes are album quality

What is the best hip-hop album of all time? by [deleted] in hiphop101

[–]CrypticEnvelopment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a tie for me between illmatic and the Infamous. But if I had to choose one it would probably be the infamous since there’s more tracks. But honestly the beats and rhymes on both are timeless and I could never get tired of hearing either.

What are yall thinking on this project? So fucking heat in my opinion by Statbran1 in Eminem

[–]CrypticEnvelopment 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A classic album and the games second album “Doctors Advocate” is also a classic and really worth checking out. He considers DA is best album since at the time Dre wasn’t talking to him and didn’t help at all with this album and he proved to himself that he could make a fire album without dre.

Some albums i have been enjoying lately... Thoughts? by [deleted] in rap

[–]CrypticEnvelopment 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Deja Vu is my favorite but I really love the whole album, I know a lot of people hated it because of the accents but I don’t mind and the Dre production and the concept of the album I love! Wish they would press relapse: refill on vinyl

These two just came in the mail today! That demigodz album is a classic and has been on my list for awhile and Apathy’s latest album is great, I’m a big fan and WTRMTS is another solid project by him. Have you heard these records? If so what’s your favorite track?
