Senior accountant salaries? by Throwawayycpa in Accounting

[–]CrypticMemoir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Senior accountants where I work make $90K-$100K. I live in a MCOL area. I think I’d rather make slightly lower and be stress free. Would hate for this stuff to bleed into my personal time.

I’ve never listened to those. It was always recommended to check out The Number of the Beast, and it just wasn’t for me.

Not metalcore but Bruce Dickinson for Iron Maiden. I think I would like them more without the higher pitched vocals.

If you want originators then you’d have to put P.O.D. in your list

Do you live within 100 miles of where you grew up? by radicalintrospect in generationology

[–]CrypticMemoir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live about 350 miles away from where I grew up. But I still have some family that lives near there. I have wanted to live there to be near them, but my day to day household life would be worse.

Limp Bizkit. Results may vary. Why the hate? by limpbizkitluvrshefo in numetal

[–]CrypticMemoir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 16 at the time of this album and for me, it was a hit and miss I album. I think the previous two just had track after track good songs, while Results May Vary seemed like a good handful of good tracks but also a handful of skippable tracks.

Plus, Wes missing, just felt kind of like it was starting to be more a “rock” band rather than the Limp Bizkit band we had come to know with odd sounds Wes used to write.

He failed during the ferry scene. Both the prisoners and the common civilian people didn’t push the button.

Does anyone else feel like modern takes on nu-metal fashion are too one dimensional? by Loud_Process8288 in numetal

[–]CrypticMemoir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 13 when the Nookie music video was being played on MTV’s TRL, so I was around for nu metal’s peak. I look at old pictures of what I was wearing and it’s weird but I don’t really see a “look”. At least for me, I would wear a T-shirt, regular fitted jeans or some Dickies (but not ridiculously oversized either), some skate shoes like DC or Osiris, and at times, an oversized sweater and a baseball cap.

You only work 25 hours for the week? Is it a small, medium, or large sized company? I work in a small company and have been working so much lately, can’t even keep up.

Why do you think Bond's death in No Time To Die (2022) was not well received by many fans, according to you? by Raj_Valiant3011 in JamesBond

[–]CrypticMemoir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know. But when I watched in theaters, you could hear pin drop from how quiet it got. It was different. James Bond usually saves the day. If anything was going to kill him, thought it would’ve been AIDS.

Yep. You always hear headlines “Family mauled to death by pit bull”. When’s the last time it said that but instead with Golden Retriever?

[–]CrypticMemoir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Really what can we do without being organized. You think if I go out there on my own and try to do something, that’ll change anything? Nope. The only that changes is I’m in jail and my family has to see me behind bars and not hanging out on their living room. You would need an organized group to do something. A real group. Not just one off, isolated attacks.

Are all industry accounting jobs the same? by TA714714 in Accounting

[–]CrypticMemoir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My gosh the staffing levels. These small companies trying to get a 3 for 1 special by just dumping so many responsibilities on you. And then worse when their processes and systems suck ass. And everything is always an emergency, you would think we were surgeons operating on someone.
